Tonight I was watching the news from St. Louis. The had a story on about how an Iraqi was arrested in rural Missouri today. He was on a gravel road and had 2 stolen cars and a U-haul with him. He was acting odd and someone happened to notice him and called police. They also found on him a money wire receipt for $25,000 that he sent to Iraq. He claimed he was from Dearborn, MI and he kept changing his story of why he was in Missouri. He was also a soldier in the Iraq war.
His name is Nazar Malla (I got two hits on him when I googled his name, one includes a picture of him that matches up with the guy they showed on the news tonight. The picture was taken in Dearborn, MI during the Iraq election)
The area they caught him in is very rural and there are no Arabs living in this area so he of course would stick out big time. They busted him near Irondale, MO.
The FBI now has him in custody.
It may lead to a cell.
The 9/11 terrorists moved about in
benign areas of the country in addition
to places where no one would take notice of
them.
This guy was in the heartland. Somethings up.
I bet he gets on hell of an interrogation and I hope they
put out cigars on his body to find out what he is up to.
Everyone is pretty much in agreement that another attack
is forthcoming only because of the lax attitude and porous borders.
Too busy searching 80-year old women in wheelchairs at the airport and whether or not you have fruit or vegetables going across state lines.
We are getting complacent.
That's him... I'll post the pictures tomorrow they had of him on the news, plus the rural road they caught him on.
(This was a big enough of a story for KMOV St. Louis news to send cameras out just to take video of an empty rural road. That was all they showed though.)
I looked Irondale up on a map. I'm assuming he was passing through. Kind of a remote route he chose. I would truly love to know where he was going and what he planned to do when he got there.
Ping!
The TV stations website is at http://www.kmov.com
I will keep checking it to see if they do a written report on this story.
I wanted to post this story in the event it turns into something more in the future.
A good question.
Over here and check out post 15...
"Everyone is pretty much in agreement that another attack is forthcoming only because of the lax attitude and porous borders. "
"We are getting complacent."
I agree with you on all counts. I hope this leads to something bigger and more revealing.
I'm expecting something to happen that will include many small out-of-the-way places.
The last I remember, I think Jayna told me he was in the Boston area and was getting all kinds of deliveries of boxes. She was concerned and saw that the law enforcement knew he might be up to something. Jayna is going to be totally vindicated, I hope sooner rather than later.
I think this is fake story. Theres nothing on kmov.com
about it and the link goes to none.com. Whats up here?
"treasure" = "reassure"
here, you need to log in and be a member, it's on the left hand side towards the bottom of the page under local news, it's a video of the report.

Why don't you email Kmov and ask them. The story is not in print form yet and I clearly stated this in my first post. It will most likely be in the St. Louis newspaper tomorrow and once I find it in written form on the internet I will post the link.
thank you!
