The Root Cause (Illegal Immigration's Apologists Depantsed)
my own thoughts ^ | 03/31/2006 | DoughtyOne

Posted on 03/31/2006 4:42:39 PM PST by DoughtyOne

Illegal immigration is recognized by many U.S. Citizens to be a threat to our nation. It's is a balkanizing process. It disrupts communities. It places financial strain on regions of our nation. It costs our nation tens of billions of dollars a year, if not hundreds. It is destroying our health care system. It disrupts the education system financially and in the teaching process due to language problems. It can place English speaking children at a disadvantage, in that spanish children receive elevated resources while English speaking kids take a back seat in the early years. There are problems of serious crime, multiple identities and recidivism.

These are serious issues, but let's ignore them. Remember, the apologists for illegal immigrants do it all the time. For once lets join them. (temporarily)

Right now lets spend a few moments exploring the number one rationalization for allowing the United States to be invaded and over-run by another nation's populace.

And what is that rationalization? Well of course, it's the "fact" that Mexicans only want a chance to earn a living for their families.

Think about that for a moment. You and I are being asked to allow our nation to be over-run, our language replaced, our neighbor's job and possibly your own given to a foreign national. We are being asked to pay their children's education. We are being asked to give them free health care. We are being asked to accept hospitals having to reduce services across the board, in order to recoup the expenditures for which hospitals are not reimbursed. Not only do you pay for illegal aliens health care, your own is being savaged in the process. You may not think so. That's okay. It is. All of this is asked, or more accurately demanded of you and I. We have very little choice.

I have never read an article about starvation in Mexico. I have never read of children being taken to mass orphanages because parents couldn't support them. I have never seen expansive stories about homelessness. Although Tijuana's cardboard city is legendary, people seem to be able to survive over there. I don't like the fact that Mexico's government allows this, but I am powerless to do anything about it. Trashing my own nation is not an option as far as I am concerned.

Look, I don't like homeless people on the streets of Los Angeles, but I'm not going to invite ten of them into my house to fix it. The United States is your and my house.

What I see is a massive number of people who wanted to live a better life, and decided to take that life from us. As your tax dollars go to pay for these people, that is exactly what is happening. They are taking from us. Lets be clear about this. These folks were not dying. They were not in danger of losing their family. They were not in danger of starving. What we are talking about, is a bunch of people who wanted a better life. That's it. That's all it amounted to.

How about you folks? It's all relative. I mean you're not dying. You're not in danger of losing your family. You're not in danger of starving. What we are talking about here is a better life. Do you want a better life? That's it. That's all we're talking about here.

Under the current policy of the United States, foreign nationals are entitled to a better life. Unless we're a racist nation, U.S. Citizens should be entitled to a better life also. As we have seen, breaking laws is an approved method of achieving a better life. It's okay for people to break into our nation. People can work in violation of U.S. laws. People are entitled to free health care for their whole family, and all children are entitled to a free education. That this can be achieved is proof positive that crime does pay, and all it takes to justify this is that you want a better life for you and your family.

This is rather liberating. I've wanted a new home for quite some time. Tomorrow morning I can go outside, take one look at the beautiful day, get in my car and go shopping. By tomorrow evening I'll have picked out a great new house, where I plan to move in. I'll pack up and move in on the following day. The next day I'll pick out a new car on the local dealer's lot and demand the keys. If I show up at the door, they'll have to serve me. Our current health care polices for illegal immigrants have proven that.

If I want more income, I'll just go to the local bank and have one of my kids walk up to the teller and demand $100,000. After all, the children of illegal immigrants are given a $100,000 education for free. When that runs out, I make certain to have had another kid who can walk up to the teller.

You know, this illegal immigration thing is looking better all the time. I take that headline back. I think it's the obstructionists like myself who have been depantsed. Who could argue against what the apologists for illegal immigrant have been backing for decades. I think they may be on the right track after all.

Hey folks, there's going to be a party at my new home on the 17th, I'll post the address, date and time later so all my friends with new homes, new cars and lots of cash can drop by.

U.S. flags optional of course...

You put a semicolon ; after each name. You can even put a bunch of names, but each one has to have a semicolon after.

The country of origin isn't the problem, nor the language, nor the color of the illegals. It's the sheer numbers of them all at once. If they were Russians, Chinese, or Hottentots, I'd have the same complaint.

I'm well aware that we need more workers, but we need to get control of the borders first. We can and must do both.

Once again you are spreading mis-info.

Crime has always followed the waves of immigration in this country.

In fact, as I stated on a reply way up above, law enforcements methods of dealing with crime amongst the illegals were developed during the Irish immigration.

When the illegals are in the shadows, the criminals hide behind them. It is universally accepted that giving legal status to the illegals will enhance law enforcement's ability to apprehend. It is also universally accepted that having law enforcement enforce immigration law will drive the illegals further into the shadows, benefitting the criminals.

or Hottentots,

Not me. I will never forgive the Hottentots for their awful actions in the 10th century. Ever. After aligning with the Lilliputins, these worthless scum are breeding like flies, playing loud music, and eyeballing American women ;)

"we need to get control of the borders first"

I suggest that you carefully and thoroughly read the House enforcement bill.

You will notice that all these "remedys" will take years to implement. All these new border agents? Hired incrementally over many years. The employee verification system? Six years to implement. Based on the problems with the pilot program, 6 years is very optimistic. 700 miles of fence? A decade. They'll be in court for 6 years trying to seize the land to build the fence on.

No, the solution is reforming our immigration policies so that we have somthing that works. Without that, enforcement only is a certain failure.

Well, I'm just cautioning people to not get too carried away. If we allow the Democrats to regain control, it'll be a huge win for Marxism. It'll be liberal activist judges from now until doomsday. We'll never make any headway against illegal aliens or any other issue as long as the darkside can rely on their activist judges to overrule the will of the people.

The reality is that the US will have a need to import labor.

The reality is that "our" government has subsidized the breeding of non-American invaders by making it difficult, if not impossible, for Americans to have enough children of their own.

The architects of this policy are traitors to the American nation. They should have their assets seized and their citizenship revoked, and forced to live in abject poverty with the people they seek to overrun America with.

How so?

Tax burdens imposed to fund transfer payments to people who aren't supposed to be here, transfer payments to people who aren't productive, transfer payments to people who aren't productive AND aren't supposed to be here, and I think you get the picture.

"Our" government subsidizes foreign invaders by the million. Make no mistake: to display the flag of any nation is to proclaim that the foreign nation in question has sovereignty over that location. The invaders fly the flag of Mexico over American soil. That is an act of war. And we get to pay "our" government to help them do it.

You said the US government is keeping Americans from having enough kids, then you didn't back it up.
I also see you just signed up today.

Guess how many kids Pat Buchanan has? Damn Feds!!

Well, you see, unlike the invaders, people like me have to pay taxes. And "our" government extracts so much in taxes that to have more than 2-3 children would be financially irresponsible for many American families.

If my tax burden were cut in half, I could afford to have another two children, thus hepling to provide the next generation of American workers. But, instead, my tax money goes to support enemy aliens who have invaded my country and boast their allegiance to a foreign government.

Ridiculous. You have nothing to fear but fear itself.

You ought to move over here to Albuquerque and take a look around.

Ben, can you fathom that it may just be you who are spreading disinformation.

Legalization is NOT the end of problems Ben. Three to five million more will come over next year.

Ben the citizens of the United States have a right to decide if they want to change the language to Spanish. They have a right to decide if they want to turn their own neighborhood into Guadalajara.

We're not talking about just legalizing 15 to 25 million. We're talking about 15 to 25 million bringing over another 1 to 4 people, possibly even more. We're talking about 50 to 100 million people over the next five to ten.

Ben, you've got to understand that so far on this thread, you've been blowing a lot of smoke. Your theories are wrong. You are convinced they aren't, but then there's a lot more at play here than your spin.

I think that's an important valid point Jim.

For the record, I get very frustrated when it comes to what I see our side doing from time to time. You've seen me support someone other than Bush, then support Bush, then support someone as liberal as Schwarzenegger.

It's very tough to now exactly what to do at times. I know that I have frustrated others by my choices at times. Oh well.

Thanks for the response.

I will say that I truly believe that legalizing the people who are here will essentially turn this nation over to the whims of the Mexican nationals and recent Mexican nationals amongst us, as the numbers of immediate family members, births and more guest-workers explode inside our nation.

I say this, because I'm not convinced our failing to support the not-so-conservative conservative candidate is the only way to national ruin. I am not trying to say that I will not support the not-so-conservative candidate, it's just that I am trying to warn of what I see as a very real alternative route to national ruin.

Good night.

"..If we allow the Democrats to regain control.."

Right! We can NEVER let that happen or ALL is lost.

But it does help to keep pressure on a nose bleed.

(in a reasonable fashion)
