Crime has always followed the waves of immigration in this country.
In fact, as I stated on a reply way up above, law enforcements methods of dealing with crime amongst the illegals were developed during the Irish immigration.
When the illegals are in the shadows, the criminals hide behind them. It is universally accepted that giving legal status to the illegals will enhance law enforcement's ability to apprehend. It is also universally accepted that having law enforcement enforce immigration law will drive the illegals further into the shadows, benefitting the criminals.
Ben, can you fathom that it may just be you who are spreading disinformation.
Legalization is NOT the end of problems Ben. Three to five million more will come over next year.
Ben the citizens of the United States have a right to decide if they want to change the language to Spanish. They have a right to decide if they want to turn their own neighborhood into Guadalajara.
We're not talking about just legalizing 15 to 25 million. We're talking about 15 to 25 million bringing over another 1 to 4 people, possibly even more. We're talking about 50 to 100 million people over the next five to ten.
Ben, you've got to understand that so far on this thread, you've been blowing a lot of smoke. Your theories are wrong. You are convinced they aren't, but then there's a lot more at play here than your spin.
