I disagree.
I do not like it when Americans adopt the tactics of our overseas enemies.
We are better than this. Let la raza bring their wierdly colored flags... petty... our focus is the legal system making sure our country is not flooded with the 'flagbearers' themselves.
Have you ever seen or been around a Cinco De Mayo festival?
Excellent point, but I'm torn on this. Seeing another country flag fly on our soil, over our public land is wrong and many people have died to have OUR flag fly...no other. A simple lesson of..."you fly that flag and it burns" will certainly stop that IMO.
If the enemy has the right to burn the American flag, then our allies also have the right to burn the Mexican flag.
You may not like the tactics being used, but as someone once said, "If you take the high road too often, you'll get altitude sickness."
I disagree with you. If we are free to burn the American flag, then we are free to burn the Mexican flag. Ironically the hispanics are waving the flag of a government whose oppressive/ineffective policies their parents chose to flee.
It that kind of thinking that got us here in the first place!
"Now let's be civil>"
Meanwhile, the damn house is burning.
Take your peace weenie "lets not be like them" attitude and go sit on the sidelines and stay out of the way those of us who KNOW that the enemy doesn't respect anything but getting their asses handed to them.
Lead
Follow
Or Stay out of the way.
Mexicans do not live "overseas".
When I read things like this, I wonder what Marquis of Queensbury rules we, or in this case the teenagers, are supposed to be playing by?
NO ONE likes to have their tactics turned back against them. That's why it's the most effective way to fight back.
As for me, I'm boycotting Mexico. A year without a mexican. As much as possible. Let's see if we really CAN survive without the unskilled labor.
To answer, back when I was a kid it was hard to hire unskilled help because it was too expensive. The influx of illegals fixed that. But as usual, people don't know how to work a good thing, it got out of hand, and now it's war.
When a foreigner or someone with loyalty to another country takes down the American flag on US soil and raises the flag of a foreign country, that is a symbol of victory and an act of war. It is a symbol that the United States is no longer sovereign over that piece of real estate.
Those who raised that flag should be deported immediately without hearing and those who burned it should be given medals.
I am hoping by your comment that you failed to realize that this flag was not merely waved, but was used to replace the American flag on American soil. If that doesn't get your blood boiling to the point where you would gleefully burn that Mexican flag and stomp it into the earth, then you are not a patriot.
... our focus is the legal system making sure our country is not flooded with the 'flagbearers' themselves.

Uh, what legal system?? What enforcement ?? What Congressional support for our border laws ?? Hello ??
Nice thought but this is going to come to blood in our streets.
While I agree that our focus should be the law, these illegals and their 'La Raza' enablers don't give a damn about the law.
We have to send messages that they will actually understand. Burning the Mexican flag is a message they will actually understand. I plan to send that same message myself.
Thanks. I don't like it either.
I am glad that American students are standing up to this. I would be if I was in school.
"We are better than this. "
No we're not--burn baby, burn!
They took down the American flag from the school post and substituted the Mexican flag.
If we were talking about marching down the street with a Mexican flag or putting it on your own car, yeah, let it alone. I don't believe it helps their cause, but I wouldn't advocate ripping it off their own car or from their hands.
But when they take down our flag from our schools and put Mexico's flag up, that flag deserves to be burned. Our flag is sacred, just beneath the Bible IMO. It is to be treated with respect. They disrepected it with Mexico's flag. It got what it deserved.
Now are there consequences? Yes. I assume both groups of these students will be punished according to the laws they violated, and they should be. I DO think they did the right thing in burning the flag, but I also believe in obeying the law. Sometimes you will pay penalties under the law for doing the right thing, and they should be willing to face those consequences.
But I won't condemn them personally, I'd thank them.
We are makers of our own country we need not fear anyone.
I commend the burners.
It's the United States of America. We fly the Stars and Stripes here. IF they want to FLY THE DAMNED MEXICAN FLAG, LET THEM GO BACK TO MEXICO AND HOIST IT UP SOME POLE DOWN THERE. This is OUR stinking country, not theirs. I spilled my blood on a battle field for that flag, to keep it flying here, NOT THE DAMNED MEXICAN FLAG!
