This is why the "War or Terror" is meaningless. We're more than happy to send our troops half way around the world, and then leave our back door open for terrorists to walk through. We are forced into airport searches and lost liberties, but the border is WIDE open. What a country.

Actually, what's stunning to me is that Mueller, appointed by Pres. Bush, is revealing this info right before the immigration bill is passed or voted down. Apparently this investigation started back in November and wound down to all intents and purposes over 6 weeks ago.
Is this a sign that Mueller is doing an end-around the Bush reservation on immigration and attempting to influence the houses of Congress?
I could go on and on about the rather startling implications veiled in official-speak in Mueller's announcement Tuesday, but I'll just end with my gut feeling that he's doing what I hope he's doing, trying to awaken the venal DC politicians who are arrogantly ignoring the public will.

Bush is supposed to be our only hope for fighting terrorism, yet he has no problems letting the UAE run our ports and Hezbollah run our borders. What a sham. If the people of this country allow our leaders to sell us out like this, there's not much hope for our future.
