IN ALL CALIFORNIA SCHOOLS!!

BILL AIMED AT FORCING SCHOOLS TO ADVOCATE
PRO-HOMOSEXUAL POLICIES!!

*************************************************************************

SB 1437 by Kuehl (D): Pro-Homosexual Curriculum

Lesbian Senator Sheila Kuehl has introduced Senate Bill 1437. The bill is before the Senate Judiciary Committee and will be voted on Tuesday, April 4th.

You must contact Senators on the committee and ask that they vote NO on SB 1437 today!!

All state offices will be closed Friday, March 31 st due to a state holiday. So please make your calls today AND Monday, too!!

California’s young students are the target of liberal legislators who wish to have every classroom blatantly teach and advocate homosexuality. Senator Kuehl’s bill will ban teacher instruction, all school activities, and all textbooks that she claims would “reflect adversely” upon a person due to their gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, disability or religion.

This means that no statement could be made that could be considered negative against homosexuality and all textbooks would have to positively portray the homosexual, bisexual or transgender lifestyles.

SB 1437 is clear… No teacher , no school sponsored activity, no textbook, no instructional materials shall give instruction or contain “any matter reflecting adversely upon persons because of their…gender…or sexual orientation…”

SB 1437 cleverly accomplishes two major goals of radical homosexual activists: It gives pro-homosexual teachers free reign to teach whatever they want about the alleged positive aspects of homosexuality— and it silences all opposition to it. Teachers would be free to promote homosexuality but banned from discussing any negative consequences.

They want every student in the state to read from textbooks that say homosexuality is ok and should be tried. They want every student to see pictures of homosexual couples in their workbooks. For every family portrayed with a mom and dad their must be a “family” with two men or two women.

School-sponsored activities including everything from cheerleading, sports, plays, to proms would be affected. Under SB 1437 school districts would likely be prohibited from having a prom king and queen because that would show bias based on gender and sexual orientation. Don’t think this is far-fetched. In February at Hood College in Maryland, a lesbian was elected homecoming king beating out three men.

PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT MEMBERS OF THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE ASKING THAT THEY VOTE NO ON SB 1437!!

WE NEED A LARGE PUBLIC OUTCRY AGAINST SB 1437!

WE CANNOT WAIT TO TAKE ACTION AND VOICE OUR OPPOSITION LATER…WE MUST DO IT NOW!

IF THEY SILENCE THOSE WHO OBJECT TO THEIR LIFESTYLE, THEY CAN CONTINUE TO INDOCTRINATE OTHERS.

*************************************************************************

CALL MEMBERS OF THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE TODAY!!

Ask them to VOTE NO on SB 1437!!

Senate Judiciary Committee Member Phone Fax

What's depressing is that no one reports this indoctrination in the mainstream media, and even if they did, nobody is willing to do anything about it.

Someone please tell me when the socially conservative, Catholic immigrants pouring into California are going to inject even the slightest bit of conservatism into the far-left Democratic party there.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Seems to me that there is a direct conflict.

NEA "New B" Plan in action, yet again.

If the wounds that are being inflicted by this illegal immigrant mess are ever to be healed, here is the issue.

Mexicans are predominately Catholic, and they are also vehemently opposed to sissification. Sort of, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" American style.

Maybe we should just "loan" California to Mexico for a while and let them take care of it.

Does this mean that "Huckleberry Finn" can no longer be taught in California schools?

World's Gay Leaders to Meet in San Diego in Nov.

Published Monday, October 20, 2003

SAN DIEGO - The year has involved the world’s communities in the issues of gays and lesbians and their rights like few others in recent times. Gathering this November in San Diego to discuss these issues in depth and breadth rarely offered are some of the world’s top gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) leaders and activists, representing LGBT communities and individuals in the U.S. and other countries.

The weekend before Thanksgiving traditionally gathers LGBT elected and appointed officials from around the world at The International Network of Lesbian and Gay Officials (INLGO) conference. This year the event is in San Diego, hosted by local and state leadership such as Toni Atkins, San Diego City Councilmember and conference co-chair; Christine Kehoe, Speaker Pro Tempore, California State Assembly; and Bonnie Dumanis, District Attorney, San Diego County. Also co-chairing this conference is Kevin Vaughan, President of INLGO, and Associate Director of the Free Library of Philadelphia, PA.

The list of participants is impressive: U.S. Representative Barney Frank, Massachusetts; California State Senator Sheila Kuehl, New York Assemblyman Daniel O’Donnell, Vermont State Rep. Bill Lippert (instrumental in the passage of Vermont’s civil unions law), Canadian Member of Parliament Svend Robinson and German Legislator Volker Beck (gay unions legislation sponsors in their respective countries), and Ambassador James Hormel are planning to bring exceptional insight and experience to the table at INLGO.

Four panel discussions, a presidential candidate forum, and presentations with impact will provide in-depth examination of some of today’s most controversial issues affecting LGBT and non-LGBT communities worldwide. The topics are: Gay Unions-An International Perspective; Addressing LGBT Issues for Our Youth and in Our Schools, and Gays Serving in the Armed Forces During Wartime. Experts on the issues include Sylvia Rhue, PhD., writer, filmmaker, civil rights activist, and Manager for the Freedom to Marry Coalition; Leif Ohlson, Swedish Armed Forces, currently on loan to the European Union’s Normgiving Diversity project to educate military commanders on LGBT issues; Bob Lehman, Gulf War veteran, 10-year Marine Corps sergeant, and the first openly gay servicemember to serve on the San Diego County Veteran’s Advisory Board; and Aaron Belkin, author, Director of the Center for Studies on Sexual Minorities in the Military-to name only a few. Kate Clinton, fresh from her fall tour, will also be on hand to offer her unique, humorous commentary on the developing Presidential election, and entertain guests at a gala dinner the closing night of the conference.

Founded in 1984, INLGO has become a major planning and support network of LGBT officials, whose numbers grow at every level of government with each additional year of activism. Recent years, and specifically, 2003, have born the fruits of activism in Canada and the U.S. in momentum and degree unrivaled in LGBT initiative history, spearheaded by many of INLGO’s conferencees.

Past conferences were welcomed by large urban centers such as Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto, San Juan, Houston, and Washington, DC. They have been hosted in Tempe, AZ; Cathedral City, CA; and Providence, RI. In 2004, New Orleans embraces INLGO’s 20th anniversary in conjunction with the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase.

Yeah, I think he is the guy who once told me that the media overblows the bad news in Kalifornia.

On the sarcastic good side, we get our hard drives and almonds from the Golden State, so it all evens out right.
