I may actually be able to go to this rally....I wasn't able to go to Crawford, or Greg's pro-troops rally.

I hope there is a HUGH turnout...but, I have to say that I am so angry right now...I better settle down, or I might go yank one of those Mexican flags out of someones hands!

Keep that flag flying. It will only get harder. But keep it flying. God bless.

We ought to get these going in every state a Republican is fighting for his Senate seat this year.

I was listening to the show today. I never been so angry as I was when that business owner called in, who admitted he used illegal labor and was justifying giving amnesty.

Guys like him are the ones that need to get busted.

And as Greg said, the GAO only went after 3 employers last year for using illegals.

What is your concern with this? This is the second time you've asked for this thread to be pulled.

I guess so. Anyone that would send their mother, father, or any family into such an arena has my pity. Personally, I would not send my mother-in-law into this melee. No skin off of me if you or anyone associated decides to encourage participation in an event that will result in physical harm, given the statements of the organizing party. Yet who am I to be a kill-joy so that someone can watch my city, home and children be harmed during prime time? A pox upon those anticipating violence. We will have a National Guard presence.

Nobody is advocating a violent rally. Greg Knapp is a local talk show host who has in the past organized succesful rallies in the Dallas area. He was also the only local radio host to promote the counter-rallies when the Moonbats were camping along Crawford roads. KLIF is going to have a remote studio setup for this gathering.

Well, my basic philosophy is that we should vocalize our disgust with our elected officials in every possible venue, if it's possible to do so in a nonviolent manner.

Blast-faxes, e-mails, indignant phone calls to their Capitol Offices and to the White House, etc...

However, the truth is that they don't care.

They've already shown their willingness to slap us in the face, so there's really not much that can be done right now to persuade them that they should actually protect the interests of actual Americans.

That's why I think we need to make immigration the primary issue in each and every upcoming campaign.

We need to make sure that when McCain and his mini-me, Lindsay Graham, lose, it's apparent to everyone-especially those in D.C.-that they lost because they have no desire to control our borders in any way, shape or form.

Then please provide the link that spells out the code of conduct, and the unified message. Otherwise this is to be interpreted as a free for all. As a Texan, I do not desire a free for all that is instigated by a d@mn outsider.

I'm a Texan, not a "damn outsider." Greg Knapp is a Dallas radio host, not a "damn outsider."

You have no reason to believe that a rally organized and promoted by a local radio station listened by 75,000 Dallas listeners would degrade into a "free for all."

I provided a link to KLIF's website, and they will update the page when they decide to update the page.

If Free Speech scares you, I suggest you stay away from downtown Dallas on Sunday, April 9. I was on a DART train when the cars were stormed by hundreds of Mexican teenagers screaming "MEXICO! MEXICO!" in my face.

Did you know that Greg Knapp has gotten Talk show of the year at least twice in a row...and maybe 3 times, here in Texas???

Amazing when you think how many talk show hosts there are.

Free speech does not intimidate us at all. Knapp is an outsider. Should you decide to encourage people to walk into an environment that is hostile, such is your choice. I do not support the concept of assembling under "the large American flag", and I dare state that anyone that chooses to do so will place themselves in harms way. Please do not do this in the name of Freerepublic. For I do not support nor condone idiocy.

Again, Knapp has personally met with Jim Rob at previous rallies in Texas. None of those rallies ever got out of hand. I still don't understand why you think this particular rally will result in violence... Who do you mistrust, Conservative Texans or Mexicans?

Sadly, as much as I would love to attend, I have a job. (unlike most liberals)
Also, 500,000 conservatives can show up & the DEMOCRAT media will ignore it.
