House Majority Leader John A. Boehner refused yesterday to rule out compromising with the Senate to expand the House border security bill to include a guest-worker program or provisions that opponents call "amnesty." "Let's wait and see what the Senate can produce," he told reporters yesterday when asked whether House Republicans would reject the Senate Judiciary Committee's proposal to allow the estimated 12 million illegal aliens now in the U.S. to seek citizenship after paying a fine.

Ok, not a big deal. I've seen a lot of video of fallers, but none so grisly as to show the impact. Just the videos of New Yorkers watching the attacks unfold is enough to piss me off.

You know, it's getting more and more difficult to tell the DU'ers and Daily Kos posters from the average troll; and neither Stellar Dendrite nor some other sleeper trolls act like any Republican I've ever heard.
They spend more time bashing Republicans than supporting them and it's clear as day they are disruptors. I don't even let them bother me anymore because it's pretty clear from their posts what they are. The only question is whether they're actually paid to disrupt or just get their kicks from it.

That now maybe we could toss political correctness and concentrate on restoring our cultural integrity and act like the world's most powerful nation in history ought to act.

It 'looks grim' primarily because the GOP is being run now by people who are more than happy to arrogantly smear the base of the party as racist and backwards.
With decent Republican leadership, we could solve this problem.
But if they win now, all bets are off. Policy like the bill that came out of the Senate Judiciary Committee will lead to a deluge of tens of millions more illegals on top of the tens of millions we have now.

With that attitude, it is only reasonable that people who were here before you discount anything you say because you are a 'noob' to them.
What kind of a jerk thinks that date of registration rather than knowledge, thoughtfulness and experience is the main criteria for engaging in public discourse?
Most of the other fourums that I frequent that have mostly rational people on them (and I have been on some of them since '96 and have setup and run some of my own forums and administered and moderated others) consider 'noobs' to be people with less than about two months registration and/or under about 50 cogent posts.

I don't know enough about the oil market to make intelligent comments about it. I assume that Morris has to report some facts...like the political orientation of the candidates in Mexico. On the other hand, Morris IS a weasel and not that smart outside of his comfort zone.
I am going to see if I can find out the truth.
But even if everything that Morris says is true, does that justify an open, porous border?

That poster is ZOT! And, I am trying desperately to take credit for it! While you were gone this morning, Howlin, Coop and I were made MODS! Yes, mods! I am practically drunk on power! I am just trying to figure out how I can ABUSE it....lol.
They're the perpetually p*ssed off rejects that inhabit places like LibertyPost or the totally deranged Clownposse. No one listens to them but they can make lots of noise on websites like this. In the end, they are irreverent in the political world as they either do not vote, vote for some fringe kook candidate, or write in the anointed "Savior of the U.S." like they did with Tancredo in 2004.
