House Majority Leader John A. Boehner refused yesterday to rule out compromising with the Senate to expand the House border security bill to include a guest-worker program or provisions that opponents call "amnesty." "Let's wait and see what the Senate can produce," he told reporters yesterday when asked whether House Republicans would reject the Senate Judiciary Committee's proposal to allow the estimated 12 million illegal aliens now in the U.S. to seek citizenship after paying a fine.

If there is any silver lining here, this is it. Thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants on our soil, proclaiming their allegiance to a foreign power and claiming that they are the rightful heirs to our land. If that doesn't wake people up, nothing will.

I think its time that the video of the 9/11 attacks that we have thusfar been protected from be shown to us.
Obviously people need to see the victims jumping from the buildings and landing on the sidewalk, only because they are obviously too stupid to get the picture otherwise.

actually, folks are deported all the time
by air (no need for an agent to accompany) after a stint at an INS joint....
when I grew up, they deported illegals routinely...now they won't even arrest them unless it's a serious felony
Dick Morris has finally earned his money on Fox, as far as I am concerned. He explained the importance of the Mexican elections in this.
The Mexican presidential election is July 2. The candidate most favored to win is NOT from Fox's party, but the guy who is the mayor of Mexico City and is pretty close to being a communist, according to Morris. He is being aided by Chavez of Venezuela.
What's at stake is the OIL that we buy from Mexico. If this guy wins, we are going to be SOL on buying oil from Mexico (whose oil is controlled by the state and not privately owned). This will hurt our economy, especially with Iran refusing to sell to us as well, and Iraq's supply not up to snuff and under constant danger from terorism.
Morris says that the guest worker program that Bush favors is so that we can control our borders without alienating the Mexican people and ensuring this communist's election.
So, to all of the people who are frothing at the mouth about the immigration law and the guest worker program, PLEASE THINK AND UNDERSTAND CONSEQUENCES.
Morris made a lot of sense. I hope people will watch the replay.

Frankly, I thought that 9/11 would have been enough to strike a death blow to political correctness in this country. I guess that was a pretty naive notion. PC is still as strong as ever and ready to rear its ugly head in any discussion about borders or national security.
