I got y'ur amnesty right here, Mr. President!
Armed Troops on the Mexico border NOW...
Any one know?
Noncense, they aren't only assimilating, they are voting Republican with increasing numbers. As for waving the flag to denote their heritage, give me a break. I suppose you think that all Southerners flying the confederate flag haven't assimilated either then.
You cannot take the stance you are taking without being anti-American to the core. What's your story?
My story is I don't buy it that rhetoric of a small number individuals represents the beleifs of 20+ million hispanics.
"Is there a Vets(and active miliary) of FR ping list?
They all should see this."

This is what my Brothers and Sisters
who died and were wounded fought for? PING
Thanks JP.
KP, is the Canteen who you pinged?
WWRND
What Would Richard Nixon Do?
hehe..Ah, the good old days, when the GOP was the party of Law and Order and the Great Silent Majority..
(I know, Nixon was actually quite liberal on many issues, but I can't help but imagine him salivating at the thought of cracking the skulls of anyone who would attack the American Flag in his town..)
"You cheap thugs think the Cambodia bombing was bad? Wait'll you Che-shirt wearing punks see what I have planned for you! Get me the Joint Chiefs on the G-- D--- phone!" -Dick Nixon, mad as hell, and spinning in his grave.
WE NEED NIXON-NOW MORE THAN EVER
hehe
I pinged some Canteen regulars (I am not one such, but I drop by now and then)
thanks, JustPiper
Almost all of us on this forum knew it started in the radio stations and newspapers. But unlike our law enforcement and intelligence community, we wouldn't lose our job if we brought it up.
I just have no words......
Look, I don't buy your assumption that the illegals don't want to become legal.
But we can set up a solution that easily deals with this issue. Only those on the path to citizenship get to work via goldcard or such. So provide the economy with the labor desired, and then I'm all for punishing the employers who go around the system for whatever reason.
Well, thanks for the chat, which took way longer than expected. And good night everyone.
#616 is for you too, KP!
Please don't use the Canteen...they're there to ENCOURAGE our troops, not make them upset...
Yes in deed. It is called the NGOs. The fund trafficking. I really just don't understand all these relationships the USA and government have with the NGOs.
(snip) from another thread:
>>>Gutierrez had been fired on corruption allegations last year but returned to his job after winning a court case in which he claimed he had been unfairly dismissed, according to the National Immigration Institute.
So I looked it up. And just what I thought. It is funded by the NGO. It's full name is: National Immigration Forum and Cato Institute. In the below list, see National Immigration Forum.
Immigrants
Center for Immigration Studies
The Center for Immigration Studies is a non-partisan, non-profit organization founded in 1985. It is the nation's only think tank devoted exclusively to research and policy analysis of the economic, social, demographic, fiscal, and other impacts of immigration on the United States.

National Immigration Forum
The purpose of the National Immigration Forum is to embrace and uphold America's tradition as a nation of immigrants. The Forum advocates and builds public support for public policies that welcome immigrants and refugees and that are fair and supportive to newcomers in our country.

National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights
NNIRR member organizations and activists utilize the network as a tool to enhance collaboration, build and develop strategy, and push thinking and analysis "outside the box" of service provision or "quick-fix" legislation. The program aims to involve, support, and empower immigrant communities to address the critical issues in their neighborhoods and workplaces.

About NGOs:
Non-governmental organization - A non-governmental organization (NGO) is an organization that is not part of a government and was not founded by states. NGOs are therefore typically independent of governments. Although the definition can technically include for-profit corporations, the term is generally restricted to social, cultural, legal, and environmental advocacy groups having goals that are primarily noncommercial. NGOs are usually non-profit organizations that gain at least a portion of their funding from private sources. Current usage of the term is generally associated with the United Nations and authentic NGOs are those that are so designated by the UN.
