A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.

Oh my gosh! I didn't even know that thread existed, and look at the number of posts already! I'd say your poem fits the thread quite nicely. Who says they all have to be *pretty* or *sweet* poems? :)

When I first started downloading to photobucket I kept deleting entries not realizing, unlike tinypic, you had to leave it in your own files there.....

Not such a big thing in our comment posts, but it is nice if our opening posts stay intact. :( Sometimes it's unavoidable - a server messes up, loses files, shuts down, or something, and then some (like me) accidentally alter a file name, and oh, it is ugly! LOL

Good, Majjie. There are some really neat threads in our archives. Some are just fluff, but many are really good. :) I do the Hall of Fame every three months, and we can go backwards to find every thread we've ever posted. Provided, that is, I didn't mess up a link. :( But even then, the thread before or after the messed-up link should get you to the right one. Plus our TGIF threads have that week's Monday through Thursday links.
