Good morning, Meg.
That basket of flowers is so refreshing and the frame is wonderful (as usual).
Thanks for always making the days brighter.
Thank you , Amy...My internet connection is working..(crossing fingers) Hooray!
I went out and cut some more roses and jasmine today and felt inspired..It was wet outside from the rain but I managed a bouquet.
The kitties get into the flowers so I have a bathroom, door always closed.. that smells like jasmine and roses...I may bar the door and put some on my desk!
I think you should put some on your desk.
I have a couple of potted plants in my dining room. They need to be planted outside but I'm enjoying them while I have them in. The are not very fragrant but they are pretty. A begonia and an azalea .... hope they make it after I put them out. I'm looking for a place where I will be able to protect them next winter.
The heavy (for us) rain really played havoc with my daffodils yesterday. They look like a dog jumped into the middle of them. I have a few ranunculas with large buds so I'm hoping for some more color soon.
Rain did trample down the blooms..but I managed to get enough. We had a few dutch iris that bloomed and some jonquils from my mother's house earlier this month ..(My daughter dug them up before we sold her house).
I love flowering plants in the house..I actually managed to keep an Azalea alive in my den years ago so that it bloomed a few blooms inside the next year..Had a lot of glass in that room..
I had an angel wing begonia that got so large in that same room that I laughed and said it was going to come down the hall and get us some night! The blooms were so beautiful..I got a cutting from a friend and have never found one like it again.
It is breathtaking to contemplate the fact that our prayers move heaven...but they do!
