The body language between Andy Card and Josh Bolten was very interesting, btw.

Evans was pretty much under the mess, er press, radar screen but I always saw him as an invaluable asset to the Presdient.

General Honore?
Can he do it as an Active duty officer?
To: OldFriend
Indeed.
I believe he was the campaign chairman in '00.
Pretty sure Rove worked for him.
That's the way I remember it anyhow.

Considering the 18 hour days as usual, it would be a miracle if this man lasted till the end of the second term.
No one in this administration puts in more hours.
Not taking away from the awesome responsibility of Donald Rumsfeld.

I LIKE Fred...Mort's the one who drives ME crazy with his stammering!
To: EternalVigilance
My feelings and I do not think we have to worry about him dissing the President

If Andrew Card is anything, it's loyal.

McClellan is incompetent. He should have been replaced long ago. Seems like a nice man, but this is a job over his head. Andy Card was highly competent, but he deserves a break. I hope that he gets to see his family again.

Funny how they mention an old poll just so they can refer to Bush's "lowest" rating. There have been several polls since that are higher, including Rasmussen which has Bush at 45. You won't hear MSM or libs dare mention it. Just the only poll that got the 2004 election results dead on.

I thought it was hillarious to see John Thune say how wonderful Josh Bolton will do as the new chief of staff, "since he's done a good job keeping spending in check as budget director" (paraphrased)....
No wonder the entire GOP seems hopelessly lost - when they think that they've done a GOOD job controlling spending....

Fred and Mort criticizing the President's speech patterns on occasion makes me laugh out loud.
Those two are impossible to listen to...or watch. Folded arms!
Maybe if they simply put their arms on the desk they would be able to speak without stammering!

Speaking of polling. How funny that Gallup didn't want to be associated with CNN any longer!

IIRC,some years ago when we flew to Tortola, BVI we had to enter through a portal different from the one for "Belongers".

I love Fred Barnes. He can be overbearing, but he's a true conservative and is a straight-shooter. He had good reasons for suggesting a shake-up, as opposed to the rest of the journalist world that just wants to make the president look bad.
