These photos were taken at Ground Zero, the World Trade Center site in New York, on September 13, 2001.
They were taken by someone named "Ed" who was allowed into the area by a member of the emergency response crew, at a time when all civilians -- including most journalists -- were forbidden to enter the area. As a result, these photos are just about the only close-ups ever taken of the World Trade Center site so soon after the 9/11 attacks.

Brilliant!
I suspect it won't make the Angry Ayatollahs happy. :)
I will NEVER,NEVER,NEVER,NEVER forget!
BTW, Hey Iran guess what we are warming up our NUKES in their silos, so you can really see what a real holacust is!
Why We Fight!
My mother's friend's son worked in WTC 7. He was on the phone with his mom that morning and told her "I have to get off the phone - there are people falling past my window".
A reminder is a good thing. Resolve!
Thank you very much for posting these photos. To the best of my knowledge, they have never been posted here at FR before.
Yes, I've read several books about that day. The best, in my opinion is '108 Minutes."
Anyway, to your question: As I recall there was a hotel in the trade center complex. When debris fell, essentially cut the hotel lobby in half. Some people were trapped on the other side of the debris and died when the towers collapsed.
Why waste valuable time on a total nonentity?
From September 11th until February 15, 2002 (my departure date from Aon), I worked only on 9/11 activities. Answering phone calls from family members. Condolence letters. Thank you notes.
The worst was Christmas 2001 when people called and cried on the phone. I cried too.
I will never, ever forget. Everything I ever need to know about the death cult islam I learned on September 11th.
There is no "official" version. There is what anyone within view of a television set saw happen with their own eyes. Two very large planes loaded with jet fuel (and human beings) were flown deliberately into those towers, all but decapitating the buildings. With their support ripped out in the upper floors, it's a wonder the buildings stood as long as they did.
In any case, when the mangled and drastically weakened support structure finally gave way, the enormous weight of the upper floors began falling toward the ground, pancaking the lower floors under them as they went. Nothing, but nothing in those twin collapses looked like a controlled demolition. But then, I wouldn't expect a drug-addled ignoramous like Sheen to understand what he was looking at that day.
The lady I knew refused to go back up because she had lived through the first bombing in 1993 (rot in hell, bill clinton) and was terrified. Her co-workers were herded back inside and begged her to come with them. She refused and went into the park. Eventually, she made her way home.
Her co-workers were never seen again.
My co-worker told me this story when she called around Christmas, 2001. Many people who did survive have experienced severe mental problems.
I will never forget. I have a ball of hatred inside my heart for the scumbag arabs, and it burns brighter every day.

I get so angry at the idiots in the media, politicians, liberals in general (who sicken me) and some family members.
How can people ignore what happened???
I hope we strap that jackass jimmy carter to the first bomb we drop. Death from above!
Rollee, my daughters nick name. Be at peace. Know your enemy and stay close to them. This too will pass.
