There should be NO option other that deportation for ANYONE in the country illegally....
They must first LEAVE, apply for legal admission, no criminal record, pass a heath exam, speak English, PROVE they will be self supporting with a designated and legally responsible SPONSER and be refused all taxpayer funded WELFARE or SOCIAL benefits...
Anything else is a mockery of our laws....and an unbearable weight on the backs of taxpayers, who have seen the benefits of citizenship decline by the flood of illegals soaking up services and taxes..
I have NO rights to Welfare, free health care, English based interface or other benefits our uninvited and illegal immigrants have come to DEMAND -- when I LEGALLY visit Europe...

Assuming you're watching C-Span like me, did you hear Kennedy say Kyl is from Kentucky? Or, did I misunderstand? I just tuned in and missed Cornyn, but it sounded like Kyl was just about by himself.

Hatch has "passed by proxy" on all votes...so we don't know what side he would be on.

I was just wrong..on VOICE vote...Specter said Session's amendment was defeated.
Sessions asked for a roll call vote..and it PASSED..what a jerk Specter is.
