He's actually saying good things.
Thanks, is what he is saying fitting the commentary of assumed statements?

To: BenLurkin
I'll bet he's not mentioning anything about all the American flags that were burned at that big Mexican rally in L.A. over the weekend.

Anything about enforcing laws already on the books?
I swear, if this wasn't an election year, the whole raft of boobs would never pay attention to the issue.

Probably his usual not-an-amnesty Amnesty crap.
I am rapidly becoming disgusted with Pres. Bush. But before the Dems think they can exploit this, they need to tell me what they would do that I would like better...
(Sounds of crickets chirping)
Thought so.

He did say we're a nation of immigrants. And we are.
Except me, of course. I've been here all along.

I leave Friday for 10 days in New Mexico...for the Minutemen operation. I can tell you that there are just as many Democrats there as Republicans...its an American issue..not so much a party's issue....wish us luck....this is the big issue of the next elections...as you can see by the masses over the weekend...we are losing control of our country...

Well, certainly the reaction to Dubai was irrational, probably Harriet Meyers as well.
But I'm with you on number three. The guest worker program isn't going to work anyway, and it makes no sense unless you control the border and only let legal workers in on an as needed basis. This country IS stuck on stupid.

Why are you people so negative.
Bush is trying to solve the problem. He's really trying. It's easy for those out of power to whine and gripe or suggest something sweeping and impossible.
He is also referring to making the border more secure.

Question I've been pondering..
If this big oil find in Mexico a few weeks ago pans out (supposedly bigger than the Saud field), will all the illegals be trying to cross the border the other way?

You confuse legal with illegal immigration. I'm all for legal immigration and secure borders. The illegals should be put on a plane, bus, train, donkey, big wheel or any other damn thing to get their illegal arses out of the USA!
