America takes side of Israel

A GALLUP POLL released last month puts American support for Israel at near-record levels. When asked for their views on the Middle East, 59 percent of Americans say they sympathize with the Israelis, while just 15 percent favor the Palestinians. Pro-Israel sentiment rises with increased knowledge -- 66 percent of those who follow international affairs ''very closely" support Israel, compared with 52 percent of those who don't pay close attention to foreign news.

Other findings are comparable. More than two-thirds of Americans say their overall view of Israel is favorable. Only 11 percent, by contrast, have a favorable opinion of the Palestinian Authority. While 22 percent of the public wants Washington to conduct diplomatic relations with the Hamas-controlled Palestinian government even if it refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist as a sovereign state, 44 percent say recognition of Israel must be a precondition to relations with the United States. Another 25 percent -- one American in four -- oppose any US dealings with Hamas at all.

Staunch American support for Israel is nothing new. In February 2005, Gallup reported similarly lopsided findings -- 69 percent of the public viewed Israel favorably, 25 percent unfavorably. In 2004, when Israel was being denounced in Europe and the United Nations for its assassination of Sheik Ahmed Yassin, the leader of Hamas, 61 percent of Americans said Israel was justified in killing him. In 2002, when a CBS News poll asked whether Israel's actions against Yasser Arafat and his forces were equivalent to US actions against Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda, 59 percent agreed that they were.

In short, solidarity with Israel is an abiding feature of American public opinion. Because the American people are pro-Israel, the American government is pro-Israel.

Well, with Israel, you're either on God's side or the Devil's side. That's what it amounts to. And God has promised to take care of His own, including any of the wrongs that they've done. That's why they were scattered throughout the world for all this time.

But, now is their gathering back time and now is the time that God has chosen to put them back in the land and now is the time that God is preparing for His Son to return to rule and reign from Israel, over the whole world.

You're not going to go anywhere by opposing God on this one.

Then there is no basis for muslims to call it one of their holy places, except for the fantasy story, "The Night Journey."

I find it interesting that the ship that was shot up was an American ship spying on Israel. That it was attacked AFTER America was asked if we had a ship in that position and WE told them no, there were no American ships in that area.

This during a war with Egypt.

Not that the hypocracy is that exciting, just perhaps stunning.

In fact, the pilots sent to sink the ship did not, because it was flying an American flag and something did not look right. The ship did not match the description of the Egyptian ship that they thought it was. The high moral standards of the IAF saved those sailors lives, the ability of men to rightfully disobey orders in the field is a sign of free nations. Any other nation in the entire Middle East would have followed orders right or wrong.

As for the sale of military goods to China, the goods sold were spare parts and upgrades for a UAV that American had given given prior PERMISSION to sell.

You want a conspiracy? Ask yourself why military supplys were threatend to be cut off from Israel over this non issue until the middle of the evacuation of Gaza.

Its called Blackmail.

It looks like Israel was forced to surrender some of its land to the Jihadi by American Interests in high places. Saudi Arabia's Road Map will be followed, or you will walk to work...

The following are excerpts from a Friday sermon on Palestinian Authority TV. The preacher is Sheik Ibrahim Mudeiris. PA TV aired this sermon on May 13, 2005

Ibrahim Mudeiris: Allah has tormented us with "the people most hostile to the believers" – the Jews. "Thou shalt find that the people most hostile to the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists." Allah warned His beloved Prophet Muhammad about the Jews, who had killed their prophets, forged their Torah, and sowed corruption throughout their history.

With the establishment of the state of Israel, the entire Islamic nation was lost, because Israel is a cancer spreading through the body of the Islamic nation, and because the Jews are a virus resembling AIDS, from which the entire world suffers.

You will find that the Jews were behind all the civil strife in this world. The Jews are behind the suffering of the nations.

Ask Britain what it did to the Jews in the early sixth century. What did they do to the Jews? They expelled them, tortured them, and prevented them from entering Britain for more than 300 years. All this was because of what the Jews did in Britain. Ask France what it did to the Jews. They tortured them, expelled them, and burned their Talmud, because of the civil strife the Jews wanted to spark in France, in the days of Louis XIX. Ask Portugal what it did to the Jews. Ask Czarists Russia, which welcomed the Jews, who plotted to kill the Czar - so he massacred them. But don't ask Germany what it did to the Jews. It was the Jews who provoked Nazism to wage war against the entire world, when the Jews, using the Zionist movement, got other countries to wage an economic war on Germany and to boycott German merchandise. They provoked Russia, Britain, France, and Italy. This enraged the Germans toward the Jews, leading to the events of those days, which the Jews commemorating today.

But they are committing worse deeds than those done to them in the Nazi war. Yes, perhaps some of them were killed and some burned, but they are inflating this in order to win over the of the media and gain the world's sympathy. The worst crimes in history were committed against the Jews, yet these crimes are no worse than what the Jews are doing in Palestine. What was done to the Jews was a crime, but isn't what the Jews are doing today in the land of Palestine not a crime?!

Look at modern history. Where has Great Britain gone? Where has Czarist Russia gone? Where has France gone - France, which almost ruled the entire world? Where is Nazi Germany, which massacred millions and ruled the world? Where did all these superpowers go? He who made them disappear will make America disappear too, God willing. He who made Russia disappear overnight is capable of making America disappear and fall, Allah willing.

We have ruled the world before, and by Allah, the day will come when we will rule the entire world again. The day will come when we will rule America. The day will come when we will rule Britain and the entire world – except for the Jews. The Jews will not enjoy a life of tranquility under our rule, because they are treacherous by nature, as they have been throughout history. The day will come when everything will be relieved of the Jews - even the stones and trees which were harmed by them. Listen to the Prophet Muhammad, who tells you about the evil end that awaits Jews. The stones and trees will want the Muslims to finish off every Jew.

If this represents what the Palestinians generally believe, then there is no hope of making peace with them. Even if they gave up all of Israel they could still expect a final holocaust someday, if the islamists ever achieve their goal of world domination.

I feel the same about our own country. I love it 100% of the time, but I do not thank Bill Clinton and his buddies at Loral for their transfer of missile technology to our Chinese enemies. So basically, maybe Israel has the same problem we do: people who don't want it to happen, but governments that think making a buck supercedes national security.
