That's what they claim. But, when the USA signed California into the confederation, there were none to be found, any that were in California at the time were only to glad to become part of the USA. These people were not present, they have no claim. They weren't kicked out, nor was anything taken from them.
California, before Americans came and worked and toiled and built it into what it is today, was nothing but scrub land with next to no value.
Mexicans, as we can see when we go vist their country, are not capable of building anything but shanty towns, they are incapable of working together in order to better themselves. Instead, they form little gangs and steal from each other, rape the rival gangs women, murder the rival gangs men. They are uneducated simpletons, incapable of creating a civil society were people can live in peace and build a community of value.
Now, because some idiotic liberal has put it into their heads that California was once "part of Mexico", they think that it belongs to them, although California freely joined the United states on it's own free will.
They think they should be able to waltz right into California after WE built it to what it is today, something these ingnorant people are incapable of doing for themselves in their own country for the reasons described above.
These demonstrators are pathetic, but also scary. It's clear they don't care one whit about becoming Americans. That's what seperates them from previous (and some current) groups of immigrants. They have never gotten over the fact that we whipped their butts fair and square back in 1847.
That gives me an idea-maybe some Freepers out there with a little extra money could by billboard space to say the following:
1848-WE WON. YOU LOST. GET OVER IT.
SANTA ANA WAS A SISSY.
OUR BORDER, OUR COUNTRY, NOT YOURS.
REPORT & DEPORT. IT'S NOT JUST A GOOD IDEA, IT'S THE LAW.
Make these billboards bilingual so that everyone gets the message. This may cause quite a few riots but it would give us a reason to recall our troops from South Korea, since they don't want us there anyway.

Hi Ali, I have seen these marches in person here in San Diego over the yrs. and see and hear this stuff on a daily basis. I live around 15 miles north from the largest and busiest border crossing in the world between San Diego and Tijuana.
It is to bad Clinton wasn't rode as hard as Bush is in letting these illegals in.

I get the impression that most people believe there never was an illegal immigrant problem before 2000.
