"The debate on Free Republic should be centered around how FReepers can advance the conservative agenda."

Have you always been this bossy? The majority of us on this board are adults the proprietor of this site allows a free exchange of ideas on a variety of subjects.

I think they had to shut it down, once it hit the web I bet it got so much mail he had to get a new one. I sent one earlier today and it didn't bounce back, maybe it just maxed out.

Thank you for highlighting the material point of concern regarding the Green message. His personal bias is important in weighing his formulation of "editorial content" in a broadcast.

Whether it will have any practical impact is one thing (probably not, even the Jayson Blair scams couldn't affect the NY Times much). But I think you are wrong if you think this doesn't really matter - this is a quick peek into the sordid reality that the MSM outlets are controlled by people who have a definite agenda which ranges from very very liberal to far left. It's about a lot more than the ABC producer's 'feelings'......

What do you think it is? I just noticed the e-mail is dated Sept 30th, 2004.

The timing is suspicious. I think he was angry Dan Rather got caught in a lying attempt to throw the election in Kerry's favor by rattling phony documents in front of a SeeBS camera.

Rush just played the tape of Bush's W VA town meeting where the woman criticized the MSM and the place just exploded in applause. Wonder if we'll hear that on TV?

Kudos to Rush for playing that...I had NOT seen or heard about this question AT ALL.

Of course, if some military wife had chided Bush, IT WOULD BE THE LEAD STORY ON EVERY ALPHABET NETWORK NEWSCAST.

But, since they expressed support for the war, the LameStream Press ignores them.

I detest the LSM.

The September 30, 2004 debate was the debate where the Moonbats were claiming that the President was wearing an earpiece.

Hah! Yep.

LOL, I think poor John will probably need a new email address after today. I bet his blackberry has exploded.

Now he'll have to get his new email addy to Hillary, Kerry, Edwards, Gore and the whole MoveOn gang.

As a supervising producer at Good Morning America (GMA), Green is the on-site manager; the person who makes sure the crews, cameras, and editorial information are ready by air time. His job has taken him to every state and around the world—numerous times. He's arranged interviews with world dignitaries and international stars. Still, his favorite stories to produce are those that involve real people, because they have the power to change lives.

So he's one notch above "go-fer", whose jobs are typically devoted to getting coffee for repugnant folks like Charlie Gibson.

This whole thing explains how Kerry got throught the entire election without releasing his service record, while they generated fake military documents against Bush.

Of course we already knew this...

CH: He called me the other day. This is not a guy who's in any way a conservative, and said you know, we've known each other for a bit. He said you know, I'm beginning to think you must be right, because it really worries me what we're doing, when we are giving the other side the impression that all they need to do is hang on until the end of this administration. Do people know what they're doing when they're doing this? One doesn't have to make any allegation of disloyalty, but just...if it worries him, as it really does, I think it should worry other people, too, and it certainly worries me.

A shame that the lamestream didn't have this brush with reality back in 1968. Maybe 3 million people in SE Asia wouldn't have been butchered by Jane Fonda's buddies.

He taught Dan Rather every thing he knew about just making shit up.

I voted for Bush. If given the same choice again, I'd still vote for Bush, however he does puzzle me at times - borders and illegal immigration - and his lack of action disturb me. Going to war with Iraq was and is the right course to take.

Bush is fighting a global war but he and his foreign policy and defense team are dancing barefoot on razor blades to keep it from turning into a true World War.  The "them" in that us against them is a disturbingly large number of totalitarian (and wealthy) Islamic regimes and they would certainly be aided by all of the failed and failing socialist states out there.  I'm not sure we could prevail short of unleashing a war that would destroy who we are, even if we survived it.

If he thinks he has to ignore the border issue with Mexico as a tactical maneuver in that struggle I'm willing to give him the benefit.  He's got just a tad more information available to him than I have.  Personally I think he's already failed and that his move aligning with India was a tacit admission of that.  It certainly was a very big gamble and laid down the gauntlet to nations like Pakistan.  There are alternatives to being alligned with us against the Jihadis, but the "moderate" Muslim states may not like them.  The UAE debacle was a significant set back for the Bush/Powell/Rice doctrine in this regard.

Prepare for the worst.  (Did you get rid of all of your Y2K stash?  If not that's a good thing)
