I just emailed him and have received nothing back yet:

Mr. Green,

We always knew you folks were biased. You don't make me sick because I don't listen to you anymore.

FOX rules!

The leaker is toast at ABC

I'm thinking the leaker is a retired conservative newsie. And if he didn't retire yet, he will have to very soon!

When I worked (briefly) in a small newsroom everyone just assumed I was a liberal. They couldn't imagine that anyone disagreed with them.

I still remember them loudly cheering on Election Night '92 every time Clinton won a state. One girl came up to me and said, "wow, looks like Clinton is going to win." I replied with, "I hope not, but it looks that way." She looked at me shocked and said, "Wow, you support Bush?!" When I said yes, she sheepishly told me, "I do too, but I'm too afraid to let anyone here know."

ABC NEWS EXEC: 'BUSH MAKES ME SICK'

Why the sudden outburst of relative politeness toward Bush at ABC? ;)

John Green was apparently watching the First Bush-Kerry debate.

I remember when W got mocked for attempting to drink water from an empty glass. He had spent that day and the previous one outdoors in great heat helping hurricane victims. Kerry had spent the day at the manicurist. I believe that President Bush was seriously dehydrated. By the end of the "debate" he was not himself at all. His handlers should not have allowed him to be out in the extreme heat for hours and hours, but he is a MAN.

Anybody know what was occurring around Sep. '04 that provoked this outburst? Any major speeches/press conferences/concurrent "scandals?"

My best guess would be a campaign speech or one of the Bush v Kerry debates

The email could have been to a group, or had a bunch of BCCs...can't tell from the photo. It wasn't necessarily to only one person.

No, friend. Bloom worked for NBC. I thought his reporting from Iraq was excellent. I tell you, his death hurt personally because I really liked him. David Bloom was a strong Christian man. The night before he left for Iraq, he invited his priest to spend the night at his home. He confided to the priest that he thought his time to go home to Heaven was near.

Info about John Green:

As a supervising producer at Good Morning America (GMA), Green is the on-site manager; the person who makes sure the crews, cameras, and editorial information are ready by air time. His job has taken him to every state and around the world—numerous times. He's arranged interviews with world dignitaries and international stars. Still, his favorite stories to produce are those that involve real people, because they have the power to change lives.

Ironically enough, the only major media to carry the story was... (wait for it)

ABC Nightly News!!

What a bunch of idiots, but I don't think many in this country expect much more this day and age.

Bloom's wife was the one to comfort Mrs. Woodward when the word came that he had been grievously injured in Iraq.

Huh.

You'd never guess that from their coverage.

Want to see something REALLY scary? Take a look at the Drudge link to the Smoking Gun to see just how demanding the Vice President is when he travels. Sheesh. You'd think he thought he was royalty or something.

This disclaimer has been included as a service to the sarcastically impaired.

I just called 212-456-7777 and asked for John R. Green's Secretary (you never can get thru to the execs, always ask for their secretary). I read him the email, he said he cannot comment, and hung up!

I guess they are all rehearsing for the shit hitting the fan.

That is real...there is video of it somewhere...it is AWESOME, because the NBC thugs in the crowd tore down ONE of the signs but didn't see the other one...it was great...they knocked it out of the girl's hand on the air...showing their intolerance...but missed the other sign!!
