Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton ratcheted up her talk about religion yesterday - saying a GOP-sponsored bill making it a felony to be in the United States illegally would have "criminalized" Jesus.
Clinton, who's considered the Democratic front-runner for the 2008 White House race, made the comments at a hastily scheduled news conference about the House-passed bill aimed at illegal immigrants.

"That's right, first thing we do is kill all the lawyers."
Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

I have checked my calender twice to see if this is April 1.
This could have been from the Onion.
Maybe you haave no idea the runaround people get from agency workers when they apply for help. "dis" is putting it mildly.
The anti-Christ is a male... not a closet-lesbian.
Ah, I see. Irony.
I think Hillary is smoking crack. Can't explain such looniness, otherwise.
You are "sure" about that - why wouldn't a PERVERSION of male (who knows, maybe Hillary becomes the first female President and then gets a sex change) fit exactly with who the Anti-Christ is supposed to be? I read somewhere she actually feels like the first female to be crucified - sick, I agree (but the broken clock is right this time).
Exactly - so why criminalize donations to, and support of illegal aliens by, the Church?
I'm not smoking crack.
The crucial point comes when they KNOW the person is not supposed to be here. They should then give the person a nice meal and a bus ticket home.
As bad as this woman sucks, it is amazing Bubba didn't keep her around!
Is that what Jesus or the Good Samaritan did?
The Sam was a visitor, and not banned (the Roman Empire would not allow that). The guy he helped WAS home.
It appears you advocate that controlled borders are not compatible with Christianity.
WAsn't meant to imply that. Someone asked what I would do if thousands showed up at my home hungry.
