Re: Your attempt to shut down political free speech on the Internet

John McCain, you treasonous bastard, I challenge you or any of your traitorous cohorts to find even one thread, one post, one paragraph, one sentence or even one lousy word posted to this web site that is not fully protected by the First Amendment!

And I will extend that to one chapter, one group, one poster or any group of posters on this forum. Name one assembly, petition, letter, protest, meeting or rally convened, filed, submitted, attended or supported by members of this forum that is not 100% protected and guaranteed as free speech or free assembly by the First Amendment!

Your McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform legislation is a treasonous act. You and your cohorts are attempting to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America, the very same constitution that you swore an oath to defend, so help you God! That makes you a domestic enemy of that great document and a traitor to your country. Yes, and Benedict Arnold was a war hero before he turned traitor too.

How dare you even think that you are qualified to sit in the oval office! Ronald Reagan's office! President? Hah! You miserable excuse for a two-bit political hack, you're not even qualified to shine Ronald Reagan's boots. If you do run, I'm afraid you're gonna be at least one vote short. It'll be a cold day in hell before a traitor like you ever receives my vote. And that's a campaign promise you can take to the bank.

You can take your fascist campaign finance laws and the jackbooted FEC anti-free-speech enforcers you are empowering and put them where the sun don't shine. And if this post is in violation of your unconstitutional law, shove it too!

Paraphrased from In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed:

The Beast never dies, it simply changes form. The Beast has known many forms: Bolshevism, communism, Nazism, fascism. The Beast has had many names: Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Tojo, Mao, Pol Pot.

The Beast cannot co-exist with freedom. The very first freedom lost is the freedom of speech, then religion, knowledge and the arts. Anything that empowers the individual must be destroyed. The state must control all.

Power to the state.

Power as an end to itself.

Those who speak out against the Beast are labeled extremists, radicals, warmongers. Churchill, McCarthy, Reagan.

The Beast must be contained, appeased. We must have "Detente" at any cost. Direct confrontation of the Beast must be avoided.

Appease him and pray the wolf may pass our door.

Free speech must die.

The Beast never dies.

coffee table size special edition of the Bible.....

Wasn't that their pious Easter visit to church...after he'd spent the morning, er, at the "office"?

Good post. We do need an alternative if CFR isn't tossed out as unconstitutional before the election.

Even Rush and Hannity thought this was good, there arent any real conservatives in government they are all comprimised by monied interests. No, rush was pretty pissed off about the mccain feingold bill. I dont recall hearing him quite as mad about something like that for a while now.

Admiral Stockdale was a senile fool in 1992, when he ran with Perot. He had to be a real senile looney by the time McCain ran.

McCain is a real stinkbag. Dunno how you can possibly support such a freedom grabbing loser.

A friend of mine, named Speer, claims he went to flight school with McCain, and says that McCain was the lousiest pilot of the bunch.

...Not that McCain might not have been a hero. Like others here pointed out, he stayed a prisoner, instead of going along with being released...which isn't something to sneeze at, I take it. I can only imagine how bad it was to be a prisoner of the North Vietnamese...so, anyway, McCain did suffer, and payed a price for service to this Nation, then, at that time. Others suffered, with much less fanfare...myself, I wasn't there.

This Speer fellow I mention flew A-6 Intruders, was shot down twice himself, also deliberately splashed another one near a carrier because he was wounded (shrapnel through feet and hands), and didn't want to make the landing. "Just didn't feel like it", he said...

He says also that he tried to re-enlist for a third tour--but they wouldn't let him. Asking him "why not?", he told me he thinks it was because he (not completely unlike McCain) wrecked too many planes, heh heh...so instead, they had him fly for Air America, carting brass (officers) around, for a while. Go figure.

This Speer's dad was a WWII Pacific theater ace fighter pilot. Being "just" a bomber pilot, himself, he took some ribbing from commissioned and warrants that knew, or knew of his pop.

Up until a few years ago, there was still plenty of fight in Speer. Just pour a few drinks in him, and he would be good to go! Haven't seen him in a couple of years, which is a shame...he doesn't live that far away...

So what, abortion is but one issue. He is a disgusting psychopath who tries to ban everything and everything that is not wetting his own personal beek.

Look up what he tried to do to mixed martial arts because of his boxing lobbyist buddies. That will tell you everything you need to know about him. He sucks.

"I handed McCain a defeat and I intend to hand him another one - his own. I've known for years that he was a traitor and I've opposed him ever since. He must be stopped."

It's more important to stop McCain then Hillary? WOW!!!

If not a traitor what is Hillary, who has been working for the destruction of democracy in the U.S. all her life ?

And Hillary is?

The are trying to say posting on an internet fourum which discusses politics is "electioneering" and thus FR would have to shut down 30 days before ANY election.

IOW they are trying to stop people from interacting and discussing politics.

I hope everyone reads Norman Bate's post and considers their actions very carefully in the next election.

Why? What is the benefit of blurring the distinction between the GOP and the Democrats?

At least when clinton was president, the Congress stood against him most of the time. All sorts of garbage became law under Bush and I believe that it would only get worse if McCain was in there.

It is important to stop BOTH of them. The entire Republican Party will be working to stop Hillary, and the conservatives (Republican or otherwise) can work to stop McCain.

You are exactly right.

Fascism means that you can do whatever the government allows with the property that you own and your own life.

In a free country -- anyone remember that time in America? -- the individual runs his own life and businesses are free to compete.

(McCain graduated 894th out of a class of 899.)

That's not usually a recommendation to become a Navy pilot...unless your daddy is an admiral with lots of influence. Crashing 5 airplanes before getting shot down in Viet Nam isn't normally tolerated either.

Do you know if there is any truth to the stories that he was treated better than the rest and came home weighing more like a healthy man than a POW?

I refer to him as the Manchurian Candidate.

Reagan made a mistake. Bush and McCain have not only not learned from that mistake, but are exacerbating it.
