Decidely not!
Did you hear his first caller, a regular pot smoker? He groped for so many words throughout the entire call, I thought the same thing as Michael, but was surprised when he said it to the caller, though it was a good point and a good move.
LOL!
"Now, what issues do you think we notably disagree with? :-)"
That's for some other time. Let's savor the moment! : )
LOL!
How nice
so the teachers are just "Followin the rules"
OY!
give me a break!
they have a LOT of control! A LOT!
this victim mentality in a teacher is just as scary as the the "I AM HERE TO CHANGE THE WORLD AND TEACH YOU MY AGENDA" types....
gh!
Fair enough! ;-)
Please change your tagline.
no prob!
done!
;-)
Thank you.
of course!
: )
Yes, your teacher was wrong, wrong, wrong.
Her position of authority gives her power OVER her students. It's the same in all sexual harassment; taking advantage of vulnerability with inappropriate touching or comments.
Your teacher was getting her jollies, talking about her dreams to see what the reaction of the male students would be.
Why else did you "laugh it off?"
Do you suppose she would be interested in those that ride the short bus?
"Why else did you "laugh it off?"
I think because I was unsure how to react.
"Do you suppose she would be interested in those that ride the short bus?"
Ouch!!!!
I understand. It was so out of place, that maybe you could laugh and she would stop the nonsense.
But, you know, it's not all that uncommon for teachers to relate personal stuff in class, whether salacious or not.
Well, at least in California it's not that uncommon...
I think it causes a lot of confusion in the kids, because we want our authority figures to act in a certain, consistent way.
It's like when your boss wants to be your friend, it's confusing. In one situation, it worked for me, but it was a temp job anyway.
Maybe it's just me who is easily confused...
