The CBC is run by ultra-left liberals. Only several terms of Conservative governments can break their stranglehold, or a complete sell-off of the CBC.

I once watched CBC Newsworld which included a portion of relays from the BBC and the contrast was night and day. Even the Beeb sounds like a voice of reason when compared with the its former Canadian division.
