According to the latest report in "The Australian", its not the word "hell" that offends them but the reference to "beer" in the opening. I hope Roy and HG and the cartoonists have fun with this.

I watched the ABC (Australian one)'s Foreign Correspondent. Trust me, it is nowhere as bad as the CBC. The CBC is the worst among the so-called "public broadcasting services" in the English-speaking world, although the Beep has now passed the PBS and fast catching up on the CBC.
Deutsche Welle's English service is far better than each and every English-speaking's "public broadcasting services" and I watch it to complement Fox News.

Once again, we both are ahead of the curve with regards to Canadian-bashing. Now that mainstream Australia is taking up the sport in earnest we can both sit back and watch Canadian FRers' heads explode by the time they get up in a few hours' time. ;-)

It's not the 'hell' that the Canucks, British, Filipino's, etc. are upset about... it's the 'bloody.' I wish someone would explain why to me.
