Today was a busy day for President Bush. This morning he gave a press conference at the White House and answered reporters' questions with fire and passion (including a priceless exchange with Helen Thomas). He then welcomed Liberia's President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to the Oval Office at the White House, and accompanied her to a social luncheon in her honor, where they enjoyed entertainment by the dance group, Moving in the Spirit, and vocal star, Denyce Graves. Later he met with Iraq and Afghanistan non-governmental organizations (with First Lady Laura in attendance as well).
Lots and lots of expressive pictures of our feisty President today, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!

LOL! Saw this one THREE times.
Once when it happened, once when I taped it off C Span for Mr Ohio, and once when he watched it.
What a lovely day!

LOL! I thought the same thing, Mike.
He is roaring and fighting, and ready to rumble.
Rush said today that he'll gain back whoever he lost in his base if he keeps this up. (Though he never lost us SMART ones. ;)
WE ALL LOVE THIS, MR. PRESIDENT! KEEP IT UP!!

Lots and lots of expressive pictures of our feisty President today.LOVE our feisty president, hopefully it's a sign of continuing things to come. He needs to get out there each day and just let the press, the liberals and weak-kneed republicans have it!
To: ohioWfan
You mean you don't ALWAYS watch his pressers and speeches four times??? I'm disappointed. LOL! ;*)

He has given us REASON to believe in him, ilovew. One thing that I know for sure........he is as solid as a rock, and he will ALWAYS do what he believes is best for the country.
Nothing will shake my trust in his integrity. He has proven it a hundred fold in the past five years.

Does it upset any one else that outsiders feel they can tell the President who he should or should not have on his staff?

If I ring the doctor's surgery between 8.30 and 9.00am during the week I can normally persuade the doctor to do a home visit for dad during the winter months.

I remember one of the criticisms of George W. Bush before he was elected was his 'cock of the walk' style.
That's what we saw today, and I LOVE IT!!!
I think we should ALL e-mail the White House and tell him to keep this up!

Laura will be on Larry King Friday night at 9!!
To: ohioWfan
Yes, he certainly has given us reason to believe in him. Some people just can't see it. It frustrates me that people don't understand. I am not blindly loyal. President Bush has given me every reason TO trust him and no reason not to trust him.

It just makes me think they're stupid, Just.
I mean think about it. He's a first rate administrator. An MBA who's using all his skills and leadership.........and these absolute BOZOS are telling him who to have on his staff.
I mean, can you imagine these same people telling a CEO of any major corporation who to hire?
They're just stupid, that's all there is to it.

It's not 'blind loyalty' to trust a man who has proven trustworthy, ilovew. It's smart.
