I recognize the threat of terrorists strapping on bombs, flying planes into buildings, and attacking those promoting freedom.
However, I don't see a religious ritual of cutting as a threat.

In these people are not banned from immigrating to our country, we will pay a terrible price. PC be damned, the world is not safe with such nuts on the loose.
Jihad is no different from the good men of Christ who slaughtered the natives in the name of the Lord back in the day.

You are equating - finding moral equivalence - between a religion which symbolically recognizes (through the wafer, the words, and the cross) the condescension of a deity to come and sacrifice himself at the hands of mortals in order to save those same mortals with a religion which believes that members of all other religions should either be bloodily exterminated or brutally enslaved. One religion teaches that you shouldn't have enemies and if you do that you should love your enemy and the other teaches that you should behead your enemy and that everyone, by the way, is your enemy. Somehow those are equal in your eyes. See what civilization and freedom that Christian-based thought has brought to the world. You enjoy it every day you live and breathe in the United States of America. Compare that to the death and horror that Islam has brought to the world. Are you still equating the two?

The concept of self-crucifixion always leaves me with one question. How do you get the last nail in? Seems you always have to have help getting that last nail in your hand and that would disqualify it as a self-crucifixion since you didn't do it yourself.
Or do they have some sort of special tool (perhaps air powered) that they can trigger with their mouths once the other two nails are in place?
