President Bush to Hold 10 a.m. News Conference (Just Breaking No Info Yet!)
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
SO, who are you comparing him to? Gorbachev? Schroeder? Blair?
I think the President did just fine, and your snooty and condescending opinion strikes me as one I would hear at certain academic quarters.
Software is definitely your forte'
Comedy will stick you on the Top Ramon meal wagon.
I wasn't able to post this morning..but was watching the presser..and listening to Laura Ingraham...
She does/says a lot of things lately to irritate me...
Long over due.
LOL...YES...that is one of the things she does that irritates me. How did you know??
The press conference is replaying now on cspan (started at 9pm, est).
OOPS< that is the presser started at 7pm est.....
...and yet Dubya's still Commander In Chief and leader of the free world and you're just a DU sympathizer. I urge you to not opt out, even though reality and your life continue to get more depressing. I can't really give a good reason but just don't do it.
LOL...YES...that is one of the things she does that irritates me. How did you know??
LOL!! You got me, you really got me. Just because I don't like politicians giving senseless speeches that are nothing more than rhetoric they said the day before.
even though reality and your life continue to get more depressing
Depressing, heck no!! I just got a job offer the other day. So I'm quite happy. And before you tell me I should thank the President, I won't. Government intervention into the free market does nothing but slow down what capitalism could be. Even going on my first vacation in close to a decade in a few months. So I guess I'll be able to 'thank' the government for the TSA holdup I'll have to go through though
Clearly, you are not with us.
I watched/listened to the President's response to Helen Thomas and concluded he mopped the floor with her.
Your "stammered about" characterization was so far off as to make your post seem like a troll.
Why am I supposed to bow to your supposed experience with watching world class leaders interact with an audience?
What EXACTLY are your noteworthy credentials in this regard?
Particularly worth repeating: When I see someone who is 100% more conservative than the President on everything, I think it is someone trying to portray a disgruntled conservative on the internet. Whatever is being discussed, Bush didn't perform in a conservative enough way, period. This is a sign of a democrat troll, if you ask me.
Thank you - will be ready when it plays PST!
Now you look the newbie.
LOL. Shall I send you a resume?
I've been in international business, US politics and R&D for decades. I've met, known some great corporate leaders, scientists and military leaders worlwide.
Pres. Bush handled HT sloppily. HT was not put in her place, she was merely shut up.
Defense Sec Rumsfeld, or VP Cheney have far better way of dealing with the press. Consider also Gen Schwartzkopf, Ronald Reagan and that General who handled Katrina.
Shame on Dubya for repeating the truth 2 days in a row, and pre-empting your important soap operas.
I just got a job offer the other day.
Is it safe to participate in 2 medical studies back to back?
Even going on my first vacation in close to a decade in a few months.
We will miss your sophistry.
Oh yes, 'truth'. I haven't heard 'truth' from a politician in 25 years. I know it's been longer but that's as long as I've been listening. 'Truth' is now dependent upon which party happens to be in power. Who said partisanship is dead? And before you attack with one of your little one liners, I'm not saying the Democrats are right either. They both present the 'truth' through their partisan views.
Is it safe to participate in 2 medical studies back to back?
How witty....
We will miss your sophistry
Many of my posts on threads like this are usually over the average partisan's head. I can easily understand why you would see it as sophistry
The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual
The awe with which faithful party members have when 'their' leader is in office leans toward the ridiculous. Bush is nothing more than a politician.
Yeah, it's like I thought -- you're full of yourself.
You imagine your superiority.
WOW! Separated at birth? :-D
