"NEITHER have I heard "there were no WMD's". Has anyone? That argument may be neutered. You said: " Durbin on FNC brought up the WMD not being found in his argument about....censored and impeached"---------------------------------------------
That's coming up soon here on FNS, but imho future use of that argument will invite mention of the 48,000 documents that debunk their argument.

Is it just me, but has anyone noticed the recent spate of "disillusioned Iraq vet" stories and revival of detainee abuse claims? It's as if the war isn't going badly enough for the media, and they feel the need to create their own negative storyline. It's not you. American casualties are trending down in Iraq as the Iraqis assume more responsibility for their own security. The MSM must now come up with a different hobby horse to attack Bush and the war.

Morning snugs, If you weren't sure about Fat Tim's L/W agenda just listen to his interview with Gen Casey on Casey comments about 'how the traffic cops in Iraq wear white shirts and black ties'. "They are proud and the city is full of hope", says Casey. Tim responds(totally different topic of course): "Can you continue a war without the support of the country" Gen. Casey. Guess he didn't hear the General's comments! It goes like this all the time proving beyond a doubt the msm has a pre-driven left wing agenda and they never deviate from it. Makes me remember it's our job to get the truth out whether it's the Saddam Tapes, letters from soldiers or dissecting Fat Tim's agenda on MTP. We need to be here doing the job, telling the truth to the public. A job formerly held by the msm.

Did you catch the "illegal wiretapping on Americans" line and no followup that the wiretaps are
only on those communicating with
terrorists in other countries?
I expected one followup question to make Turbin sweat.

Thanks for the numbers. Another thing we have to remember is not everyone in the military is pro-war in Iraq and a Republican, or who supports President Bush. There ARE Democrats in the military and there ARE some who oppose the war in Iraq, and there ARE some who are anti-American in our prosecuting premptive foreign policy for the WOT.

I remember arriving in Korea in 1974. I was in the 8th Army and married to a soldier. We lived off base in an apartment building and we only got hot water 2 hours a day. Murtha whines that the Iraqi's only get electricty 10 hours a day. We were in Korea 20 + years and I only had hot water 2 hours a day to take a bath and wash dishes. You don't hear the dems demanding we get out of Korea.

DO you remember this from October of 2005 in the London Times Online?
Iraq's message to Mr Blair: we still need the troops that saved us from tyranny
Jalal Talabani
EVENTS OF recent weeks have reaffirmed the need for the alliance between the new Iraq and Britain. The lesson of the ghastly drumbeat of terrorism, the rioting in Basra and the vile murder of the leadership of the Iraqi Anglican Church is that the battle of Iraq cannot be won by retreat or compromise, but by the vision and determination for which Britain is renowned. Above all, Britain owes no apology for delivering the enslaved people of Iraq from the hands of a callous tyranny.
for anyone who would like to read the rest...
WHY WE FIGHT
The challenge is to show fortitude in the face of horror so that we can finish the job that began in 2003 of uprooting dictatorship and implanting a democratic government. Reforming Iraq, restoring a society distorted by fascism, was never going to be easy.
Read it all.....
