Is this refering to the riots a while ago in Paris, or are these new? I haven't heard of them before (this week).

Will the MSM say that France is on the brink of civil war?

It's WWIII. Civilization vs. Islam. And France once again would rather appease or surrender than fight. And once again the US will be the ones who eventually save their (and all of Europe's) sorry butts.

Seems that it's always 1968 in France.

Will they join the rest of society in the 21st century or return to circa 600 BC with Islam?

When it comes to that, the good citizens of the EU had best be ready and have their powder dry, because it will be long cold seasons before American blood is shed again for Europe.

That is not to say that it will not, just that you had best be ready to defend yourselves for a long while.

Well I hope Chirac nails this down PDQ. I'm going to Paris on vacation in a few months

The insurgency has entered its twelfth straight night of violence against the weak government.

First it was a riot. Now it is a insurgency. Let me know when it is a revolution.

re ;M. Chirac elatedly burned every bridge with the United States, not out of moral principles on Iraq, but out of fear of an “intifada” brewing in his own country.

No it was more to do with France trying to be a world power and go her own way, as did Russia and China.
