Saddam General Explains Saddam’s ‘Secrets’ — WMDs, Bombing Israel, and Genocide (AUDIO)

I have yet to listen to the whole interview, however reader Anthony J. said that this is a must listen:

Former Iraqi General Georges Sada, who was a military adviser to Saddam Hussein appeared on The Mike Rosen Show (850 AM KOA) (Tuesday March 14th, 2006). He is described as an expert air pilot who played a large part in saving coalition forces’ lives in Gulf War I. Sada explains what happened to the WMDs prior to the US led invasion of Iraq in 2003 and Saddam’s planned (all-out chemical weapons) attack on Israel.

General Sada wrote a book about his tenure serving under Saddam Hussein:

Former Iraqi General Sada delivers a riveting inside account of Saddam Hussein’s tyranny, including confirmation of the existence and hiding of weapons of mass destruction. Despite being a Christian and refusing to join the Baath Party, Sada was promoted to Saddam’s inner circle for his honest advice. Sada criticizes most countries and the United Nations (whose workers he accuses of accepting bribes) for their complicity in propagating Saddam’s regime. But he strongly praises Operation Iraqi Freedom, pointing out that no other country would take the first step. The book has an unexpectedly religious angle, being slightly Christian-centric and paranoid over Muslim population growth in the West. Regardless, Sada blames Saddam for destroying Iraq, but remains hopeful the nation will have a chance to become a modern society, fulfilling its great historical legacy.

Part 2 is about bombing Israel.

Editorial Reviews

From Publishers Weekly

Book Description
He was Saddam Hussein's top military advisor . . . and a truth-teller in a regime where truth was relative. He was also a devout Christian in an anti-Christian country. For the first time, General Georges Sada shares his amazing journey ? and speaks of the military secrets he was asked to keep. Secrets that only those closest to Saddam would know. But God's work in General Sada's own life is no secret. From his years of covert military operations, to his dramatic conversations with Saddam and other world leaders, God has enabled Sada to make a difference, even when lives hung in the balance. In this exclusive book, the General paints a picture of Hussein, his regime ? and his country ? that is at once personal and truthful, compelling and sobering . . . guaranteed to draw national attention.

General Georges Sada's Biography:

Georges Hormis Sada graduated from Iraq’s Air Academy in 1959 and was trained by elite forces in Great Britain, Russia and the U.S. An ace fighter pilot who trained other pilots, he went on to become air vice marshal in Saddam Hussein’s military. His acts of bravery, including saving the lives of forty downed coalition pilots in the Gulf War, have earned him hero status.

Georges Sada was born into an Assyrian Christian family in northern Iraq and became a born-again believer in 1986. Georges had great favor with the former Iraqi dictator, as he is one of the few Iraqi men to ever publicly confront Saddam Hussein and live to tell about it. Georges believes a key reason why he served as one of Saddam’s most trusted advisors was to persuade him against attacking the nation of Israel with chemical weapons, something Saddam attempted to do on two separate occasions.

Now retired, Georges is director of the Iraqi Institute for Peace and also serves as spokesman for the newly elected prime minister of Iraq. He is also the president of the National Presbyterian Church in Baghdad and chairman of the Assembly of Iraqi Evangelical Presbyterian Churches.

In recent years, Georges held the position of principal advisor to the former Iraqi Prime Minister, Iyad Allawi. Additionally, he acted as the lead consultant for the reconstruction of all three branches of the Iraqi defense system. In June of 2003, Georges received the prestigious International Prize for Peace and Reconciliation presented by the Bishop of Coventry, England.

If this was going to go somewhere, it already would have.

If you do a search in Google News or Yahoo News for stories in the MSM on this book and topic you will see that it hasn't been 'somewhere' yet, except in the new media.

The Bush haters in the media are desperate to cover this up along with the contents of all the Iraq documents just released.

Everytime anyone tries to fire these up and get them out to the general public they get buried and put on the back burner by the lefties and MSM. That alone should give you a hint they have credence. Everything General Sada has said on those tapes and in the interviews have been right on.

I agree...some 'good' guy has to find an angle to get Americans interested in this.

So far Saddam has been "Slick Saddam."

I agree. MSM or not if this had credibility the administration would hold a presser and say the feds/CIA have debriefed this guy and his story checks out. It would have been done well before the publication of this book. Personally I wanted to hear from the scientists who Saddam refused to let leave the country before the war. They have been free to speak for 3 years now and not a peep. What's their story?

I'm sure there are lots of things the Administration has proved creditable and they have not fired up the megaphone and cried. Guess they thought that the public and the MSM would admit the truth. This Administration has too much faith in the RATS and their accomplices

"Guess they thought that the public and the MSM would admit the truth."

You know they won't. The Saddam tapes are in government control and being released today. If they can release those why hold onto other evidence? Especially if it supports the administration. I may be wrong but I don't think any administration official or republican pol has commented on this book. If they have please post the links so we can all read them.

Or even the White House.

Only way is if the book endorses a guest worker program.
