Comedy Central star Stephen Colbert’s nightly conservative/O’Reilly-mocking show "The Colbert Report" invited on MSNBC host Keith Olbermann Tuesday night to double up on the O’Reilly bashing. It started predictably, before the word "Nazi" came out:
Colbert: "Why do you have a problem with my hero, papa bear Bill O'Reilly? You guys have been going at it, hammer and tongs."
Olbermann: "Well, Stephen, he's an idiot."
Colbert: "You say that like it's a bad thing. I think he sees the world simply, okay? Without all your complicated facts."
Olbermann: "We're both saying the same thing. He's an idiot."
Did Olbermann really have to drag out the word "Nazi"? Oh yes, even if it violates Jon Stewart’s "Hitler reference" comedic principle from that other Comedy Central show. Colbert drew out the spat O’Reilly had with Olbermann fans on his syndicated Westwood One radio program:
Colbert: "Isn't it illegal for anyone to say the name Olbermann on his radio show now?"
Olbermann: "Apparently so."
Colbert: "Tell me what happened."
Olbermann: "Apparently last week or the week before somebody called up and used my name. He cut them off and then explained that they'd be getting a little visit from Fox security and that Fox security would then contact the local authorities. So Mike from Orlando, ‘will be getting a little visit.’ (Said in mock moron voice.) Two or three of these people who did call up and mention my name actually got phone calls from Fox security. [Here's one claim of that.] Which is, you know, fascinating if, you know, we're living in, say, Nazi Germany, it’s a good idea. Otherwise it's kind of....you're going to arrest people who disagree with you."

Threatening a caller with a visit from "Fox security" was really silly... unless he was trying to be funny. In this case, he was just setting himself up for ridicule..
Can you imagine being forced to sit down to a beer with those two?.....shudder
Which is why I don't follow craptastic talk show morons like Olbermann or O'Reilly.

BOR booted *ONE* caller from his show for mentioning Olbermann. The left has jumped on this, and is *STILL* talking about it. BOR has not responded because...
BOR *NEVER* mentions Olbermann on his shows. *NEVER*.
Olbermann has named BOR "the worst person in the world" 16 times. He aired 60 attack pieces on BOR the 9 months.
He has stated on C-SPAN that he "hates" BOR. So they if no feud, and BOR is not 'Obsessed' with Olbermann.
BOR Never Mentions *Olbermann* - you can't be "obsessed" with someone you don't talk about.
Conservatives should attack Olbermann because he is on TV, and is a 100% hardcore lefty. He constantly attacks conservative and George Bush.

Meaning O'Reilly is media scum. He'll side with our administration as long as its good for his ratings.
As soon as it isn't he'll turn attack dog so as to not seem 'partisan'. He's done this many times before.
I'd rather detail my own opinions and understanding from the administration itself than have some media whore scream about some crap that is totally irrelevant to what's going on in the world today. I support our troops and the U.S., not some talk show joker.
You seem to imply much while knowing very little about the context of a statement made by another.
You also seem to make statements that you choose not to answer or back up with facts, such as the "lying idiot" remark about McClellan.
Can you provide anything to affirm McClellan is a lying idiot?

The dolt had someone who said he was from Fox security really call at least one caller. That's more stupid than his perverted loofa phone calls.
Olberman isn't much of a broadcaster but he's pushing O'Reilly over the edge. The whole thing i funny.
I watch Olberman and catch the replay of O'Reilly just to see how the fight is going. LOL The two of them should really meet on the Jerry Springer Show and fight for the whole hour.
I'm not a huge O'Reilly fan, but have to admit he serves a usefull purpose by keeping Olbermann and Frankenn laying awake at night.

O'Reilly doesn't mention Olbermann. He dumped one caller for mentioning Olbermann's name on the show. The caller may have been dumped for other reasons. We won't know because BOR doesn't talk about losers like Olbermann.
BOR supports the troops too.
Why are you joining the liberals in attacking him?
And if you don't care, don't post on threads about him. Lots of people don't care about TV hosts or talk radio.
BOR is with us 75% of the time, Olbermann supports the troops 0% of the time. THe liberals would love to get him off the air.

You must not watch him regularly. He doesn’t mention Olbermann as much as Olbermann mentions him, but he gets his digs in.
I don’t think much of either one of them, to tell the truth. Both of them are clowns with vastly over inflated egos. I do think it’s funny to watch them tear into each other.
I watch O'Reilly almost every night and I didn't know who Olbermann was until this thread.
