FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006

What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

A lot of them were likely anime/manga fans, or fans of games like Final Fantasy I-X2 (I don't count FFXI, as it's more or less MMORPG. x.x), or other games imported from Japan.
That is, so far as I have seen, how many fans of the language get their start. I know it's how I got mine! (I got interested in it after I got way into InuYasha, though I never did buy any merchandise for it. :)) And since then, I've become a raving anime/manga fan, and determined to learn to read, write and speak Japanese competently. It's hard, but really fun!
And does that site of yours still exist? ;)

WOW!! You put a lot of thought into that !! LOL
That give you any idea why, with a mind that goes in as many directions as mine does, it takes me so long to reach a decision? ;)
