FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006

What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

Two-fold answer to your question...
1. I was a Second Class Navy Diver (63-67) and cherish those good ol' days. SFP2(DV) and proud of it. Here's one of the diving jobs we did - changing the prop on an old Tin Can.
2. Back in the early days of FR, Whitewater Files was the main topic of conversation. FReepers had to dive deep into the Clinton growning legacy to discover the truth about the co-presidents. Lord knows the main-stream press wasn't gonna do it.

Thank you. It's nice to be here - and I think I'll be hanging out in the Canteen a lot, now that I can see how fun it is!
Besides, everyone who serves needs to be cheered up and cheered on :) What better way tos how support than to do just that? :D

Fun nickname
The most fun I had while active duty USAF was while assigned to an
Air Support Operations Center (AKA Death on Call)
but then one of my sons is a Marine - go figure.
