With not that many jobs to be had, many workers in Orange say they'd rather risk arrest seeking employment on their own.
When Orange police recently arrested undocumented day laborers in a Home Depot parking lot, the incident touched off the usual reprimands and praises from different sides of the illegal immigration debate.
But it also raised a question:

"We are a town without borders"? I'm glad they have enough time on their hands, and lack of fear of arrest, to take the time to make a political statement! I wonder. Did they purchase and make the banner themselves?
I can't imagine the Carl's Jr or DKs like having crowds of illegals surrounding their buildings waiting for work.

I see from the pictures they hang out at the donut shop, so how come the cops have so much trouble finding them?

Of course they want to get day jobs - no taxes, all cash! Hmmm...is that why the city supports job centers? They get 'legal' jobs for the illegals and a sip from the revenue stream?

We were in Temple, TX last week and there was a bus full of illegals making a pit stop at a convenience store. Apparently, it runs regularly between Dallas, TX and Mexico. Why ICE can't seem to stop it beyond the pale.

We have an entire bus terminal in Nashville whose passengers luggage is primarily wicker baskets and plastic bags, just off Nolensville Road and Harding Place. Most of the buses are of the "Adama" Line out of Southern Texas.
But it would be "racial profiling" (or too much work) for ICE agents to wait at the terminal with their own bus.
