How Bush helps jihadists
The Washington Times ^ | 03/13/06 | Michael Scheuer

Posted on 03/13/2006 7:41:31 PM PST by peyton randolph

-snip-

America, once again, has validated the al Qaeda chief's decade-long and ongoing lesson for Muslims: America supports democracy only if its agents are elected; America will destroy any regime that threatens Israel; America will not allow a country to be ruled by Islamic law unless it has vast oil resources; and, for America, Muslim blood is cheap, it has no qualms about cutting funds used to feed Muslim children.

Scheuer should have been shipped to Gitmo. I hope he's been investigated to see if he's one of those leaks to the MSM...and prosecuted under the Espionage Act if he did.

Scheuer's like a lot of upper crust East Coasters, anti-Semitic to the core. In his mind, it's all the fault of the joooooooos. Just let the jihadists kill all the Hebrews and then they'll be nice to us and give us puppies and flowers!!!!

Perhaps this would be a bit more honest if the author would proclaim how the MSM and the idiots that make up the RAT Party give Aid and Comfort to our enemies.

Since this is NOT the case, Sheuer needs to take the "Nick Burg" tour.......

"[e]ven before all votes were counted in Palestine, Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, the president, the neoconservative pundits, and sundry members of both parties in Congress -- some of whom clearly aspire to be Knesset members -- rejected dealing with the democratically elected Hamas government unless it abandons its pledge to defend Palestine against Israel,

An absolute lie (one of many in this insane rant). The demand was for Hamas to recognize Israel and to nix the part of their charter that calls for Israel's annihilation. ....not exactly unreasonable demands.

Michael Scheuer, a 22-year veteran with the CIA, created and served as the chief of the agency's Osama bin Laden unit at the Counterterrorist Center. He is also the author of "Imperial Hubris."

Another loser CIA agent likely flushed out by Porter Goss's ongoing cleanup.

Who was he working for, the CIA or OSAMA. Didn't do a very good job with the CIA.

What a debt we owe you once more Petyon old Dear.

"An absolute lie (one of many in this insane rant)."

That sums up your post fairly well Peyton.

In ordinary times it would be disgraceful. During a time of war it is criminal.

I have defended Scheuer before but this is just ridiculous. If I have this straight he's arguing for the complete funding of Hamas and a break from our support for Israel against terror and he argues for complete nuclear cooperation with Pakistan while at the same time recognizing Musharraf has a 'coup minded general staff.' Then Scheuer says that the US deciding not to fund Hamas and deciding not to help with Pakistan's nuke program actually helps Bin Laden?

I would love to hear exactly what he is advocating. Should we use tax payer money to buy bin Laden a $3 million apartment on the upperwest side of Manhattan just so there will then be the possibility the radical muslim masses will find the United States more respectable?

I want to formally revoke any support I have ever shown to this guy. Forgive me if it took me awhile to come around(maybe I'm a little slow).

What's criminal is Michael Schuer's affection for Usama bin Laden and his call for utter appeasement of these murdering terrorists (so-called "draining the swamps).

As someone who has witnessed ugly pathology up close, I can understand his paranoia about the Joos, but mental illness and affection for our enemies cannot be a sound basis for defense.

Has to be a convert to the only "religion" that kills you if you give it up for another. If they can subvert a college-educated high achiever like a CIA agent...

I think DeBourchgrave is the chief editor and he is pro Arab and doesn't like Israel.

Thanks Mr. Schuer, I had no idea the Bush Administration was doing so many things that I approve of.

So you support Michael Scheuer's position?

If so, why?
