Did Race play a role in the Port Deal discussions? The very charge is met by the likes of Sean Hannity and others with Righteous Indigination. In fact, to mention it makes you the true problem. Mark Levin in fact called a MAjor General a dirtbag over that charge. The below cartoons may be an issue now in the UAE. They are not cartoons about that ole darn prophet however. THere will be no boycotts over these but remember still they dont help things. The cartoonist just give us what we want sometimes. From MSNBC the following cartoon. There were many others that through the glory of the net are available to all.
Let me suggest to you that racism runs the other way. We have thousands of American troops in Arab and Muslim countries, dying and taking casualties, to liberate and protect them. I've visited many of them. Don't tell me 70% of the American people are racist because they oppose this deal. We are the most giving society on the face of the earth. This talking point is WRONG. You think about it, and those of you who employ. Good night.
ok let me see if I can find a archive of his show
Wow. It is! You work on Sundays, and cruise FR!
I said what the general said was an outrage, when he said that opposition to the deal was Arab and Muslim bashing.
YMMV, but my tack is to downplay allegations that (true or not) have no upside.
WHAT THE HECK!
Mark... what is he talking about!?
What is he confusing this with????
I CANNOT BELIEVE MARK SAID THIS! I CANNOT!
I HAVE LISTENED!
I NEVER RECALL THIS!
Give a date and time!
Schumer was out of the box first, and I think chickenhawk warmonger has made a pretty strong case.
So, what is it, "Personal Honor Above All", or what.
The real enemy in this story is Chucky, and a secondary story is about all his running dog lackeys, including those so many have believed to be hard-core Conservatives for many years.
Any time someone gets a chance to brutalize the Chicoms (against whom we fought a bloody, nasty war in Korea half a century ago) and evades his moral responsibility to do so, we have to suspend our trust of that person's political judgment.
OK let me find the thread from last week and I will post it. I commented on it with in minutes and no one objected or said I was wrong
Not interested in trashing Chucky. Another nitwit just said that I support Chucky because he opposed the port deal. What kind of response am I to give to that? I trash the guy every damn night, while you're beating your wife. (See how it works - I can throw a mudball too, and if you don't answer, I can say -- funny how he didn't defend himself against a charge of beating his wife). Wise up.
okay......
but you know that his shows are archived.....
I am sure this can be cleared up...
Yes, you lied then too. You wrote the same thing. Here's the deal buddy. YOU are a dirtbag. NOT the general. I think that's pretty clear now.
I think he's confused. Because once, I heard you call a dirtbag a general. Sorry just wanted to get in the conversation. Enjoy your radio show!!!
Ok, that's enough! Get off the forum you big dummie!!
Like I said on the other thread - I've emailed several "BIG" bloggers with the Chucky info and NOT ONE responded or followed up on it. First the media now the big bloggers?
LOL, the man has arrived.
I with-held my own judgment on the deal for several days until I could find out what it was really about because, quite frankly, I didn't think $1 billion was nearly enough to purchase the Port of New York (per AP articles, Chucky Schumer, et al etc ad nauseum). In fact, given the number of terminals and other infrastructure within the Port of New York, I'd suggest $1 trillion probably couldn't replace it.
When a deal looks too good to be true, it probably isn't.
So if 70% of the American people think you can buy 6 major American ports for $1 billion, I have some really great sounding, but utterly phoney insurance policies to sell them.
I gather I could have started in the FOX newsroom.
70% of the American public oppose this deal because they were fed a line of BS from our lying media and have NO IDEA what the deal actually entails.
LOL! WOW!
remind me to NEVER tick you off!
Okay...what does YMMV stand for??
