Did Race play a role in the Port Deal discussions? The very charge is met by the likes of Sean Hannity and others with Righteous Indigination. In fact, to mention it makes you the true problem. Mark Levin in fact called a MAjor General a dirtbag over that charge. The below cartoons may be an issue now in the UAE. They are not cartoons about that ole darn prophet however. THere will be no boycotts over these but remember still they dont help things. The cartoonist just give us what we want sometimes. From MSNBC the following cartoon. There were many others that through the glory of the net are available to all.
It was a DEM maneuver from start to finish, but the spineless GOPers "stole" it from the Dems and the Dems, especially Chuckles Schumer, are mad as hell about that.
Good night, dear Friend. You can't be saying that many people in this country are not ill informed. I never use talking points. Come back on to the field. Fight the good fight. I'll not quit nor will you.
I am just saying that people are going to have to have some answer for the race accusation
Yeah, and the answer is stick it where the sun don't shine. The answer is to not answer, as the premise itself is ridiculous and trumped up and the fact that certain Republicans, including some generals, and even Bush are making such claims is disgusting. That's a Dem trick to play the race card, and Pubs doing it is just so unPub.
You don't have to defend yourself here Mark. We all admire your work. Jealousy can be very ugly, pathetic even.
It was THE worst signal, in the middle of this war, that America and Americans could send.
He aint talkin
Do you? If so, by all means share it with us. You have shifted your argument, again ... you ask that we look at some special information that opponents don't have, then you tell us to support the deal via a cult-of-personality argument. I respect these men enormously. But argue the facts.
You should hear Mark daily expose Schmucky Schumer.
Well ping me, girlfriend! My days slip away and I have yet to get accustomed to Central time!
So what do you say to Rush these days?
No, I guess it's a value judgment. Living in an area that was attacked TWICE can lead you to think more highly of folks on our side of the battle than those who have been relatively immune from the general conflict.
Are you actually suggesting it's a bad thing that the Miers nomination got scuttled? Thank God we got that nomination nixed.
Not thin-skinned, just demand the truth. You believe in being truthful, don't you. I mean, I could come on here and say that you called someone a dirtbag, others would start commenting on the lie, and that would be wrong, don't you think? Now, defending one's self from a lie isn't thin-skinned, it's correcting the record. I do note, however, that you said nothing of the allegation, only my objection to it. You're not a dirtbag, are you?
Le Cheim
but it was clear that the white house was going to use that 45 days to simply twist arms of the leadership, and try to run out the clock, and use procedural issues to stop it.
I said from almost the beggining here - if the white house wanted to save this deal, the thing to do was NOT to come out of the gate threatening a veto. the thing to do was for Bush himself to call for a delay, and use that time to get behind a comprehensive new ports security plan (which will likely come now anyway). DPW could have then stood up and said they would be the first to comply with it as a consequence of their deal. that was the way to save this deal, by engaging in a positive agenda on a security issue.
instead, the counter attack consisted of veto threats, xenophone and racism allegations. there was no way they were going to win with that.
I say I love him. You seem to view disagreement, which is rare, as condemnation and disloyalty. Have you ever disagreed with your husband/wife? There's a basic level of maturity that's required, don't you think?
