You are brave!!! Great first-hand update, thanks. I just heard on KWQC about Illini. Geez, this is nasty. Galesburg is getting hit pretty good right now.
My husband's aunt lives on the north side of Lake Springfield. Anyone know about any damage to that area?
Wow, thanks for the Ping, BG. Great images, Tom.
Imagine seeing that dark thing in your rear-view mirror. And hail the size of a tennis ball - yikes!
Some sink holes being reported in Davenport now. Oh crap, Isabel Bloom and Oscar Meyer are flooding!!!!!!!
Poor Stockton, and they were just getting thru rebuilding! My folks are still in Lamar, any word on that area?(Barton County).
Short blurb on Channel 6 that the Oscar Mayer Plant is now receiving some flooding.
I don't, sorry. I hope all will be well with your husband's aunt.
I just called my parents and they're okay. (No power.) They live in a subdivision near 6th street, and south of South Grand.
My prayers go out to all in the path of these storms.
Just these intitial reports coming out of Springfield tonight are reminding me of a night here in Alabama 8 years ago when an F5 tornado hit. I pray for those in the path of these storms. I did notice that OK/AR/MO/IL was at "high risk for severe weather" today. I had never heard heard that term used before it was issued for us that day in 1998.
Not brave. Just thirsty and stupid.
(Oh well, gave me a chance to go out and play in the storm!)
Hey those log homes are tough.
Seriously, prayers for Springfield. Nashville went through that in 99.
I posted this to you on thursday, hope you're OK.

I heard on C2C a few nights ago that your area was going to be hit by some severe weather in the coming days and you MIGHT see as many as 70 tornados. That was on Monday IIRC.
