That slide might be due to the Olympics. I don't think I watched FOX News Channel at all during February, and went to bed most nights when Special Report was on so I could be up early to watch hockey in the mornings.

Don't you wish the Junk Journalists would one time, just ONE time, ask the clowns like Biden, "Ok Senator, what is the solution then".

Radio is a great place to be sometimes, morning MNJ! How is life in the frozen tundra! Hope you did your exercises for the days events, methinks you will need all the stamina you can garner for today's thread.

I remember one time some moron Talking Head, Larry King I think, was ranting at Haley about how big a mistake it was for "you Republicans" to have opposed the Civil Rights act.On top of that it was a lie! The Republicans have always been the ones supporting the Civil Rights legislation, with Democrats, such as KKK Byrd and Al Gore Senior leading the filibuster's against it. Vice President Richard Nixon had to cast a tie breaking vote to break the Democrat's filibuster against the 1957 Civil Rights act. The overwhelming majority of Republicans in both the House and Senate voted for the 1964 Civil Rights act, a large percentage of Democrats voted against.
George Orwell would be proud of old Larry.

Hi rodguy911. I was thinking of you a bit ago, wondering how long it was until 24 is on.
It's been "dark" here and is turning to "light" as I write. We're supposed to have a 70% chance of snow but it's not here yet, if it comes at all.
BTW, good post on the DPW deal.

During our 4 week winter (which just ended) down here many offshore boats captains looking for a hot lunch, warm up pizza or spaghetti on their engine blocks and then have a feeding frenzy of their own while hunting for sailfish.

I guess they don't teach journalists to ask the right follow-up question.

I have to admit I have a hard time understanding Biden. He wants more troops on the ground and he wants us to get out of Iraq. Which is it? Does he want more troops in Iraq so we can have more leave?
Gasbag seems to be the best description. Thanks.
