I heard a report that Buchwald also has kidney failure, and has decided to stop his hemodialysis treatments.
I also heard the same report, that basically he has days left because he's stopped dialysis.
Perhaps, he wants to explain his decision to millions of others who are undergoing the same 3x weekly procedures.
Probably, but I'm betting he's on mostly to give him one last chance to trash Republicans.
What better present could the MSM give to him?

I agree that the 2 of them have the so called professional comedians beat in timing AND wit. The exchange came after most of the skits had been aimed at Cheney.
Another Bush witticism was noting that Cheney's middle initial was B....."It stands for bull's eye,' Bush quipped. (Lots of laughter on that one.)

Another thing about Mike Pence is he just gets more and more likeable the more you listen to him. He doesn't seem to have foot in mouth disease like a lot of the current Republican Leaders.

Sitting with Howard Wolfsen and gang avoiding the reporters side & 'allmost' sending their press release for print (some other things don't merit the mention). Placed on compulsory leave.

Hunter is being tarred by the "culture of corruption" brush and needed to change the subject of his news coverage. Three samples from a Google News search on "Duncan Hunter" and Cunningham:
Newsy Bits
San Diego CityBEAT, CA - Mar 8, 2006
... Congressman Duncan Hunter, Cunninghams political mentor and longtime friend, was in the courtroom to bid his boy adieu, and CityBeat chased him down ...
Duke's dirty money stains Hunter, too North County Times, CA - Mar 4, 2006 ... Duncan Hunter should publicly condemn Cunningham's crimes and energetically support real lobbying reform, including the elimination of earmarks. ...

Hunter is Dukes friend til the end
The Hill, DC - Mar 6, 2006
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) is standing by his friend, convicted former Rep. Randy Duke Cunningham, until the bitter end. ...

I just saw an ad for a product called "Lipodisolve". The last line on the ad was "It doesn't suck." Off topic, but I couldn't resist mentioning it.

you are right, especially since his message is so hard to pull off.How do you gently rebuke the party forcing them to change course without hurting the party? Pence is walking I fine line and we all should be grateful.

Biden won't say that his vote for the war was wrong, it's just that he can't believe the incompetence with which it was fought.

Was this the same dinner where Clinton all but accused Rush of being a racist???
It was so bad that Chris Matthews spoke with Rush and told him that Clinton owed him a public apology.

I don't think a lot of the people realize that most of the angst and bitchiness in Washington is produced for to appease the angry activists groups. Just like soliders, Politicans have more in common with each other then they do with their backers.

He really seemed to have a very sharp mind as he spoke.
And I always thought he was just a pretty-boy ambulance chaser. Actually, I think Edwards is fairly intelligent--he just has fallen in with the wrong crowd.

Since my satellite equipment is leased and installation is free, it will reduce the price significantly. Normally the equipment would be $299, but after April 1st, the price gets knocked down below $100. :)
