This is NOT intended to be the live Sunday Morning Talk Show thread. I trust AB will do that as usual. This is strictly a preview of who will be on the main shows. The idea is to give folks a chance to muster their resources for that thread. I would particularly ask that anyone with specific knowledge or resources about the topics / guests announced for these shows post them here so that the rest of us can go into the shows with a heads up on what to look for.

Yes - I think Ken would be an excellent person to get information to.
I need his hard address; I only have an e-mail address.

I'm glad I was wrong on the outcome of the discussion. Did Tim try to steer him towards other conclusions?
I bet we don't see him on the MSM talk shows much anymore. Probably no round 2 next week on CNN the way Edwards and Kemp are getting this week.

You're right; he won't be welcome on the shows after tomorrow now that he's made his intentions clear.
Tim tried repeatedly to get him to say the war in Iraq distracted us from capturing OBL, etc., and Bernsten wouldn't fall for it in any way and denied that Russert was correct on a lot of assertions. Loved that he slammed Kerry as being wrong that we outsourced capturing OBL. LOL

I'll just ping you to the thread so you can bump it. It probably won't go anywhere, but I'd really like to see at least a dozen freepers or more sign on to making phone calls or sending a few letters. Sigh
What else can we do? We just have to find a way to convey how important it is to turn around the debacle over the ports and garner support for the WOT. If we can make people see that WMD are probably in Syria and the president didn't lie, and that he certainly didn't lie about the relationship between Iraq/AQ, then the Democrats will be toast in November '06.

What is needed on FR is an attitude adjustment...from anger to activism, like you said.
You need to post that on tomorrow's Sunday Thread also...because the Sunday Thread seems to draw a lot of the "activist" type freepers. None of the others will stomach those shows...LOL

There is a lot to turn around.
We made an important ally in the WOT look bad, world wide. In essence, IMHO, that jeopardizes our troops. How? They UAE, provided needed intel to us about terrorists. who knows how far it went, but who knows what we will get from them from now on.
Sad day. I'm still not over it.

Thanks, sleuth. So much for McCain's stunt. I see Frist has won the straw poll. Good, because it won't do Frist much good, but it's a smack in the face of McCain.

They're trying to set the agenda for the November elections, convincing us (and perhaps more importantly the panic stricken RINOs) that
- George Bush is already toast and a lame duck (who may be impeached at any minute)
- Iraq is already in a civil war
- Iran is beyond our control
- A-rabs are all terrorists and we have to shut off all contact with them
I appear to have judged Russert's agenda correctly on his CNBC show tonight, but Gary Berntsen seems to have crossed him up and not given him the answers he was after.
I don't see anybody doing that to him on MTP tomorrow (I just don't think George Allen is willing to make Russert look bad, he needs the Washington press corps to badly) and the NY Times will definitely have Trainor and Gordon on a short leash.
It won't matter if Huckabee is the best speaker ever and Obama mumbles incoherently on FTN, Schieffer will fawn all over Obama and sneer at "the hick."
The question for me on ABC is how will Frist do. His stand on the UN human rights body is pretty strong, but I bet it won't even come up. He'll either "go along" and be nice or Steffy will decide it's time to declare his candidacy over (but they see him as ineffective so they want to keep him in the race).
Pence and Hunter could be interesting. Hunter has some big time fence mending to do with the White House (which he apparently has started) and Pence seems to be emerging as a strong up and comer.
I know I always get more out of this thread than I put into it and it definitely helps me figure out what's going on during the Sunday shows (if I could only keep up... <G>).

Thanks, but The Core is on FX. Much more believable and reality based than anything Chrissy might spout. <g>
Seriously, I'll flip back and forth. I really like the part with Delroy Lindo and the "unobtanium" and Stanley Tucci's Carl Sagan schtick is hilarious. It's trash, but it's trash that doesn't take itself seriously, unlike Chrissy.

WOW!
I really like this thread...
I have to be honest...
During the Terri Schiavo crisis I was quite active..
I even traveled to FLorida twice. I was up reading court transcripts until 5 am, etc...
I also got involved in the Mis Mae case and traveled to La Grange GA for WND....
I found out some things while I was there that made me drop everything.... I MEAN EVERYTHING....
I disappeared from FREEP for a LONG time.
Since I have been back.. I have been hanging out... but not really ACTIVE..
It has been too hard to do it...it's like I have had a wall up....protecting me from the fallout of failure once again...
But when Capitol Hill agreed to 45 day review and then never reviewed it and shut it down in 6 days... well- I AM HOT about that.
If the deal was rejected after the 45 days.. I could've handled that... just like I have accepted the eminent domain etc... it is not losing the battle that ired me.. it was them LYING to us about wanting to review than ANGERED ME....
now- this thread.. it has sparked me... to be ACTIVE again...
it feels good...
thanks...
sorry- I didn't intend to spill so much when I started typing.. but there it is...
thanks...

LOL...don't apologize.
It is like I told Peach earlier, we need to be able to vent on FR...we just need to vent about, and too, those that are the cause..not at each other.
Even though I am OLD, I am a newbie in political acitivism...so, I haven't had the disappointment yet that you obviously had when you even had to stop freeping..
But, I am becoming very disillusioned and weary about the Republicans...I expected to fight the dems...but not the GOP..
I can even fight the MSM...I KNOW their biases...but, I don't like not knowing what GOP politicians are "solid" and not "fair weather" Republicans.

What happened in GA? Can you tell us via freepmail?
We all need to walk away at times because we get so disillusioned. I've never been so furious with our own side as I am right now over this port deal.
