Chicago police say as many as 100,000 protestors are gathering outside the Chicago Federal Center to voice their concerns about a house bill that would tighten immigration laws. The massive demonstration has blocked many streets in the Loop.
The border security bill would make it illegal to assist any undocumented immigrant. That measure is drawing the attention of numerous groups and lawmakers on both sides of the issue.
Thousands of demonstrators gathered at the Chicago Federal Center to protest the house bill 4437. They believe the bill discriminates against undocumented residents and those who try to help them and it robs them of a chance at the American dream.

No president is EVER going to order mass deportations so you can just forget about that.
The fact is there are plenty who came here legally and their visa's/worker permits have expired etc....I think they deserve some consideration.
In Mexico a foreign national can go to jail for a hundred trumped up reasons.. maybe a thousand or more.. The Mexican gov't is a drug cartel for God sakes..

It is sad to see a public display of what many of us here have seen for years....the problem influencing the debate.

Imo, we haven't even begun to see the problems stemming from illegal immigration.
With Democrats backing this to the core, it will get much worse indeed.
That alone it shows how hollow and meaning less is their so called Aztlan Nation notion and along the way doing a great disservice to the young minds of US born Mexican kids, getting lulled into something that will never exist.

Therefore the Mexicans are trying to define themselves who they are. For the most parts they are indians, which connects them to our indians. That's it!
The Demagoguery going on for the past few decades from the so called Mexican leaders within our midst and with a nod from the Mexican government hungry for the good ol' green back, it has created this dream of Aztlan for which will never come true.
I dare any Mexican national to come forward and explain that to me reasonably.
That is a big problem and one of the easiest ways to become an illegal alien, since we don't enforce our laws. Can you imagine overstaying your visa in other countries?....You would be in jail.

Folks better wake up. Their country is being lost faster than they realize.
It'll never happen. The illegals are realizing (as in Chicago) that they have achieved "political critical mass."
This is just the beginning, now they will become fearless, and our "leaders" will be terrified of them. They will all get amnesty, and bring their entire families within 5 or 6 years.
We've lost our country, I'm afraid. The Quislings have done their foul work all too well.

I was trying to avoid this. It's hard not to be a conspiracy theorist when you consider what "they" are doing about the borders and illegal immigration. Do they want just cheap labor? Couldn't be ONLY that. Do they want One World Government? Likely. Do they really want terrorists sneaking over the border dressed like Mexicans and speaking Spanish? Hard to believe.
Makes me sick. And I don't have a racist bone in my body. Legal is one thing; illegal is completely different.
