Chicago police say as many as 100,000 protestors are gathering outside the Chicago Federal Center to voice their concerns about a house bill that would tighten immigration laws. The massive demonstration has blocked many streets in the Loop.
The border security bill would make it illegal to assist any undocumented immigrant. That measure is drawing the attention of numerous groups and lawmakers on both sides of the issue.
Thousands of demonstrators gathered at the Chicago Federal Center to protest the house bill 4437. They believe the bill discriminates against undocumented residents and those who try to help them and it robs them of a chance at the American dream.

I live in AZ, nuff said.
I was told of this protest today, sans details unfortunately, from my local MinuteMen project. Our chapter leader was downtown and she got very little air time on local news, but I will be watching at 9 & 10 to see if our side was even filmed by our liberal media!
Recently, outside of Chgo.:
At the meeting, Rosanna Pulido, director of the Illinois chapter of the Minuteman Project, railed against recent legislation that gave children of illegal immigrants the ability to attend state universities at cheaper, in-state tuition rates.
"We vote for somebody without knowing their voting records," said Pulido, 49, who is of Mexican descent but whose father "did not want us to learn Spanish." A Chicago resident who lives in the Lincoln Square area, Pulido is a former 911 call-taker who runs a word-of-mouth transportation service for seniors and spent time on the border with the Minutemen in April.
Having spent a year in Mexico as a missionary, she said she worries about the culture that Mexican immigrants bring with them to America.

What wars are they fightng in. Legal imigrants, with a green card can enlist. But illegals are not eligible.
Actually I was fortunate enough to be on WLS the Eileen Byrne show this morning and I did a debate on The FOX Neil Cavuto show.
It went very well!
I was also lucky enough to have Carmen Mercer from The National Minuteman HQ with me.
You should see the other on this same topic.
