I don't recall who . . . but a prophetic source asserted in an email 2-3 days ago that the next 16 days would be very . . . vulnerable . . . in terms of possibly even WWIII breaking out.
I've discounted it because I think the puppet masters have signaled that they are delaying the attack on Iran. I figure that's scheduled to be one of the main triggers to WWIII.
We shall see.
Looks like Stan Deyo has been accurate yet again about a 6.0+ quake in the Sumatran region.
Times are still more interesting than I'd prefer them to be.
High School Kid Who Burned Mexican Flag Arrested And Charged With Arson
Posted on 03/31/2006 11:52:07 PM EST by lowbridge
Just got home from work, and was listening to Joe Crummy on KFYI interview one of the dads of the kids that burned the Mexican flag:
Apparently, his kid was arrested by AJ Police and was held in detention in Florence all day yesterday. CHarged with Arson. It took all of their savings to get a retainer for an atty.
It gets better. The family is now getting death threats. They were informed by police that there are those trying to find out where the family lives, and are going after them. AJ police stated to the father, there is nothing they can do about it, until someone actually shows up on their property.
Also, there was another kid from the school (Rod, who said he was a "future" Marine) read that letter from the school, forbiding any kid to wear any article of clothing resembling or representing a flag, no matter what country it represents.
He said emphatically, that he *will* wear the US Flag to school Monday.
Apparently this flag burning was near the ROTC table.
My respect for the kids in AJ have grown a hundred fold!

More than two dozen students walked out of Skyline High School Friday morning to protest what they say is a ban that doesn't allow the American flag to be flown on school grounds.
Several students said that they were upset that Mexican flags can be waved around but that American flags couldn't. They said that school officials confiscated their American flags because it has become inflammatory because of recent immigration issues.

Summit's over. Apparently, illegals are just "guests" we forgot to invite.
This isn't the first time the president's played fast and loose with labels in the context of immigration, either. Michelle nailed him on it a year ago.

Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano is getting some criticism for her opposition to construction of a security wall along the Mexican border.
Napolitano opposes state and federal proposals to build a border wall to help curtail illegal immigration and drug trafficking from Mexico. The Democratic governor argues a border wall would be too expensive and would not stop illegal entries into the U.S.

NAHJ calls on the media to never use "illegals" in headlines. ... Under current US immigration law, being an undocumented immigrant is not a crime
An overwhelming majority of Americans, as demonstrated by the national polls, want the government to stop illegal immigration and gather up all the illegals in the country and ship them home -- or define them as felons and put them in jail! The United States must protect its borders and the jobs of its citizens from this invasion. A candidate running for office, even for the presidency, on such a program would garner overpowering support.

WASHINGTON Conservative House Republicans bluntly warned their leaders Thursday against any immigration compromise that would allow temporary foreign workers and assailed a Senate proposal that would open the way for illegal immigrants to earn citizenship. "My fear is that if we continue down this path that the Senate has established, that we will have created the biggest magnet ever," said Rep. Bob Beauprez, R-Colo. "It would be like a dinner bell, 'Come one, come all.'"

* Tom FYI
The first time Rep. Tom Tancredo got really angry about immigration, the year was 1975, and he was a junior high school social studies teacher in Denver. The state had recently passed the nation's first bilingual education law, and Hispanic kids were taken from his class to study in Spanish.
That idea made zero sense to Tancredo, the grandson of Italian immigrants. He believed that newcomers should be assimilated into the country, as they had been for generations. The image of America as a beacon for people from all over the world uniting under one flag and one language was threatened, he contended, if the country started adapting to immigrants, instead of the other way around.

Danish newspaper sued for printing cartoons

Copenhagen, Denmark A group of 27 Danish Muslim organizations have filed a defamation lawsuit against the newspaper that first published the caricatures of Islam's Prophet Muhammad, their lawyer said Thursday.
The lawsuit was filed Wednesday, two weeks after Denmark's top prosecutor declined to press criminal charges, saying the drawings that sparked a firestorm in the Muslim world did not violate laws against racism or blasphemy.
Michael Christiani Havemann, a lawyer representing the Muslim groups, said lawsuit sought $16,100 in damages from Jyllands-Posten Editor in Chief Carsten Juste and Culture Editor Flemming Rose, who supervised the cartoon project.
We're seeking judgment for both the text and the drawings which were gratuitously defamatory and injurious, Mr. Havemann said.
The lawsuit was filed in the western city of Aarhus, where Jyllands-Posten is based. The court said it had received the lawsuit, but no date for a hearing had been set.
