Umm, I've never encountered an instructor who recommended tampering with the scene like that. Not my CCW intructor, not my NRA instructor, and none of the instructors at the Front Sight 4 day defensive handgun course. If you think a forensics team wouldn't be able to tell you "dragged them inot the house", you may be in for a surprise, and in so doing you've just told the DA that you felt you had something to hide.

What those CCW "instructors" told you is a big line of BS.

I seriously doubt any competent CCW instructor would advise moving the bodies. The blood trail would raise inconvenient questions with the responding officers. Planting weapons on the perps is also a bad idea.

Always better to play by the rules and avoiding situations where one might feel compelled to lie to the cops. You will be found out, and what would have been a justified shooting will land you in jail (or broke from lawyer fees).
