Concealed carry isntructors adamantly recommend to shoot to kill the kids trying to crawl through the window or enter the door. Then drag them into the house.

Umm, I've never encountered an instructor who recommended tampering with the scene like that. Not my CCW intructor, not my NRA instructor, and none of the instructors at the Front Sight 4 day defensive handgun course. If you think a forensics team wouldn't be able to tell you "dragged them inot the house", you may be in for a surprise, and in so doing you've just told the DA that you felt you had something to hide.

...and that's precisely why I strongly advocate training your dogs to drag the body long before an incident like this occurs...;-)
