Foreign Agent Clinton
The American Spectator ^ | 03/06/2006 | The Prowler

Posted on 03/05/2006 11:16:17 PM PST by TheLion

Late Friday, Department of Justice lawyers in the Office of Legal Counsel were attempting to determine if former President Bill Clinton had registered as an "Agent of a Foreign Principal."

Federal statute requires that anyone -- even a former President -- doing political or public affairs work on behalf of a foreign country, agency or official must register with the Department, and essentially update his status every six months. It was not clear the Clinton had done so.

If his status is less clear, here is what we do know: If Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton did not know about her husband's standing with the United Arab Emirates and with Dubai World Ports, members of her Senate staff most assuredly did.

I guess it depends upon how much of the MSM picks this up. I know Fox will.

I usually am....right, that is. :-)

And BTW...she is NOT going to be in the '08 Dem presidential primary; she ONLY gets involved in "sure things".

Perhaps, but I'd take this article with a grain of salt. After all, further down the page is this tidbit:

"While everything may point to his not running for the Republican nomination, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist is not out of the running just yet...his standing has not diminished among the Republican donor base...the only candidate who could challenge McCain among slightly more moderate Republicans...and still have some standing with conservatives is Frist."

Gawd, they are shameless in pushing McQueeg and Frist, neither of whom have a shot in the primaries. A lot of people here will come out to vote AGAINST either of them, which is a sure sign they are sunk before the first vote.

Nonetheless, it would be great to see BJ get charged with something. One of the great things about this whole UAE deal is getting to watch the Clintons and the neocons tear each other a new one. It's like watching a catfight between Carmen Electra and Jenny McCarthy--you can't really root for either of the ho-bags, but you hope the nails come out, a lot of slicing goes on, and both are completely exposed by the time things are finished.

"The ultimate loose cannon. If, God forbid, Hillary was elected POTUS, he would be running around the world, doing as he pleased."

Ummm...I think you meant to say "..doing WHO he pleased."

Oh wait. He's doing that now.

Nevermind.

They can't! She stays in D.C., he flits all over and is sometimes in N.Y., only to be trotted out, like a prize bull, when she needs his presence for some reason or other.
