"He thinks he's going to die here," said another member of his defense team, Agnieszka Fryszman.

They get three good hatel meals a day, pray to the rock-god five times a day and don't have to work. What more can a Muzzie ask for?
Wait, I forgot about the 72 virgins, who all look like Helen Thomas.

For most people, participating in a war isn't a crime. Still, when you get captured, you should expect to remain a pow until you are paroled or exchanged or until the war ends.

An Afghan man, identified only as Abdul in one of the transcripts, urged U.S. military officers overseeing his tribunal to free him so he could feed his family. "I don't know what they have to eat," he said. Don't worry, they're being taken care of in one of the Osama day care centers that Patty Murray talked about.

Other than the three meals a day it doesn't sound much different than if they were back home.

Ahamed Abdul Aziz has been in the Guantanamo Bay prison for more than three years and, by his account, has been interrogated 50 times without being charged with any crime. He waits with anguish for freedom but fears it will never come.

Lemme see here. These goat-loving vermin get 3 squares a day of special food, medical care, prayer times, their precious koran, & clean beds to sleep in. What do you think would happen if the prison was run by these bastards and filled with Americans?

These are men who would readily kill Americans, and may have already done so.
Why should Americans feel any pity for them?
A story like this just goes to show how outside the mainstream the AP is.

Funny the AP doesn't mention those who have been released and then killed or recaptured when trying to kill Americans again.
