I need help with setting up a website against a RINO politician. I have plenty of experience with editing the webpage etc, I need to know some of the places I can go to register the RINO's name.
Since this will be the real name of the incumbent (county official) I am concerned that they could shut down the website, because I am using their real name.
I know my name will be known, I am not afraid of being found out. I just want to list the facts about this idiot under their own name.
I want to use their full name.
Which site can I use to rent that domain name on a monthly basis and not worry about them shutting it down because it is not my name.
Network Solutions, Yahoo, GeoCities, etc? Can you think of others?
Please help defeat this eminent domain abusing RINO's

Try directnic.com, you can register it (about $15.00) and get some free disk space on their server for the site.
There's certainly no shortage of Rinos. I intend to do all I can to get rid of my rep (Joe Schwartz) in the next election.
Over on Blogspot some guy has a patdewine.blogspot.com address. It was a must read blog (to me anyways) during the primary special election in OH-2 last year.
Hope that helps ya.
Also check stealth registration via Domains By Proxy.

BTW: For post #2, it's $15.00 a year for the domain name registration and the website hosting is free!
I use directnic too - they're 100% with me. And, I've removed my name & address from the contact information - it's replaced with "admin" and no one's had a problem with that.
I did the same, and you are right, no problems. I've registered dozens of domains thru them (for myself, family and clients) and have never had a problem. I recommend them every time someone asks about domain registration or hosting.
I did one myself. Register through any company and keep your info secret. There is virtually no way for them to find out who did it unless they have clout at the register company.
Next, stick to the facts. You can be pithy and biting and cutting, but don't be emotional. Keep your arguments rational and logicial and brief.
Next, get the message out. Place cards with a message such as "there's something rotten in ..."
Keep your statements truthful at all times.
In our election, the incumbant was beaten by several hundred votes. Our site had gotten 500 visits in three days prior to election. Did he lose because of us? No one can tell for sure, but exposed major corruption and our efforts certainly didn't hurt.
Godaddy.com is about the least expensive and I have used them for at least a year for many names.
Depending on your web host, some will give you the domain name for free for the first year.
Personally, I have found Host Excellence to be very good. Their phone help has been excellent. hostexcellence.com
